11:14am: Suing the Internet!
Slashdot has a post from Yahoo news about a lawyer suing Yahoo for name calling on message boards.

This hasn't been posted here before? Has it? While not technically fandom - it is interesting and funny as hell in that point and laugh at people who are mind bogglingly stupid kind of way. Plus - you know - internet lawsuit = funny.


Here is the current chatter about this guy. The splooge. The name calling. It is a thing of beauty.

2:14pm: Bitching, and whining, and crying! Oh, my!
Mmm, Wicked wank. Yes, everyone wanky from RENT found a brand new bag, and made the big migration west into Oz. At least, that's my theory.

In other words, Wicked brings the wank again! This time, it's slayerbabe, who posts her experiences after a performance of Wicked at the Gershwin Theater stage door. Please note: slayerbabe did not actually see the performance of Wicked in question, she just came to harrass the cast after a good heaping of RENT in the Big Apple.

3:16pm: Degrassi: The Next Wank
There's wank abound in this Degrassi: The Next Generation community on LJ.

The first post poses the question: Is Manny a slut?

There's plenty of responses, but eventually, as we all knew it would, it gets wanky.

Who'd have thought a teen show would produce wank? ; )

6:21pm: Finally, some wrestling wank!
Our poor fandom is so dependent on mailing lists that it's hard to find good wank roaming about, but found it I did! Even if it is your standard "finding God" wank.

"I've found religion again and can no longer write smut or use curse words, just thought I'd let you know!"

"EXCUUUUUSE ME, are you saying you're better than us?!"

The born-again in question also says she's gonna leave the board as a result of the backlash she's received and it's PLEASE DON'T GO to the rescue! And she decides to stay after all. And the originally offended person posts an apology.
