11:04am: Teeny-tiny-political wank
General americanization wank based in fandom-- music fandom.

So everyone's favorite Gay Communist Nazi band (Rammstein, for the blissfully ignorant) has a new single leaked out. It's called Amerika. Normally, I'd expect wank, and lots; a topical song, a new song, crazy fans, etc.

But the fandom takes it uncharacteristically sedately; they like or don't like it. Some arguments about whether it's pop. But all is not boring! Talk of globalization leads to a flag-groping moment of political zeal by Big Bad Gangster. The one or two responses are quite reasonable and quiet, but I have high hopes.

I'm going to write a BRILLIANT fic, unlike all the sucky ones that everyone else has written, but I can't think of a plot.
All the fics are so bad, and the authors are mindless morons!

Well, I would normally post this to i_wank, but this doesn't really have anything to do with me this time, but just to do with a post or two made earlier to otf_wank, where criticalcricket posted this beautiful story of tru luv.

It made it to ljdrama, too, it was just that tear jerking.
