1:24am: In time for Halloween, a Spookywank!
Long time lurker, first time poster. Go me.
Shadow of a Hedgehog, a Sonic fan community, has a few topics that always seem to cause problems. The
Supernatural Events thread is one of them. Relevant posts are cut'n'pasted here, as viewing the boards requires users to be logged in.
It starts off innocently enough, with Acro asking about people's supernatural experiences. After a few pages, however, Nico notices something funny:
The funniest thing about this thread is the manner in which you correct each other on what these things do and are.
It's just fucking hilarious. : )( And it just goes on from there... )There's the standard suggestion of "ignore him and he'll go away", but the main participants don't pay attention. Elsewhere in the thread there's a mini-wank about whether Wicca is an ancient religion or something made up in the 1950s. Meanwhile, poor Acro desperately tries to keep on-topic. And, amazingly, no-one trolls in to bash the various claims made by the supernaturalites. Even a mention of being Otherkin goes unridiculed.

In the CAA, the following Trigun review is given by the ever wanky
millyfan:
( When you post this at the CAA... well, that's like signing your own death sentence, you see *facepalm* )In case the post in CAA is deleted (and it was),
millyfan cross-posts it at
snarky_yaoi.
And a baby troll responds to the "WANK ME!" call. And people pet it. And the wank flows...Barely starting, but just BOUND to grow. It's yaoi wank, WHAT else will happen?
EDIT: And it HAS. Read what
millyfan has to say about the troll itself. What. The. Shit. Indeed. And. At. This. Rate. I. Don't. Know. If. I. Should. Believe. It. Or. Not.
EDIT 2: More from the Troll here:

I'm posting this here, not because it's fandom-related exactly, but because I think this is something as many people as possible should see.
It's already been posted in otf_wank, which is really where it belongs, so I'm turning off comments here.

First time post, because I just had to share this...
We have a writer over in Stargate fandom who appears to be even more bat-shit than anyone previously reported (and that's up against some mighty stiff competition, what with the beagle botherer and the lunatic Jonas lovers). She's been writing a series of novels with her own original character shagging Daniel Jackson and posting significant chunks of them to one of the more popular lists.
However, this prima donna has a bit of a bug up her butt about the concept of people having access to the results of her god-like creative genius. So much so that she will only post part of her stories from
her website on the list she's been
spamming gracing with her creativity.
The plot thickens, however, when she then starts granting special dispensations to people who are disabled and therefore cannot read on the computer, since she doesn't want the general riff raff 'stealing' her creative product by downloading it. Because people should be reading it on her website, as God intended! In fact, people who download her fic in order to read it in other ways are, according to her,
'thieves' and 'site suckers'.
One person I know mailed the writer in question to get access to the rest of the story (since she has the requisite physical problems) and the writer set her a quiz on the previous chapters to test she'd actually read it before she would agree to send it to her! People who fail are allocated to the
'Hall of Shame' and threatened with being reported to their ISP.
E.T.A. And now we have
a response from the author (let me know a url if anyone has saved this in toto, please?) and
an attempt at martyrdom, after Geoshitties take down her site for either TOS violation and/or bandwidth spike. Oh, the humanity!
