1:13am: Not-so-anonymous wank
A while back, Willshenilshe got an anonymous flame on one of her stories. Eventually, Kindkit owned up to leaving it. And there was much discussion in the Buffy and Angel community about feedback and niceness and stuff like that.

But that’s not what this wank is about. Not mostly, anyway.

A few days ago, Willshenilshe posted a story for the slash wedding ficathon. And, quelle surprise, she gets another anonymous flame, this one accusing her of plagiarizing one of Glossing’s stories. Glossing and Kindkit, as I’m sure no one would be surprised to learn, are quite tight.

In my personal opinion, I think the accusation against Willshenilshe is utter bullshit. But go check it out for yourself.

So at this point, (though apparently some people might have been blaming Glossing) I’m totally thinking it’s Kindkit, only I’m not sure, because everyone remembers last time, and she can’t be THAT stupid, right?

Turns out she is. She really is.

1:38am: Anorexic Mary Sues...or ARE THEY?

Like with many shows, there's already a slash community for the Fox show House (possibly because the writers have been very kind in that department, but I digress) There's a LJ community, House (slash) Fic which has, thus far, been pretty much all slash, hence the name. People were nice and cheerful and all was good.

Then minaminamina joins the community with this post

People are unhappy.

Mina repeats over and over that she was just joking and edits her post. Things are still pretty calm. There is well-deserved icon love.

And then someone finds anorexia in mina's interests and feels this is a good reason to mock her.

It's still pretty small, but I think the post itself, the joking defense, and everything related to the anorexia are pretty wanky, and...well I was amused.

It's a quiet afternoon in the HP fandom. Wait, no it's not. Aside from the Heidi Patrol and ... other things, there is a new troll at FictionAlley, repeatedly spamming the Books 6 & 7 forum.

It's kind of cute.

But more stupid.

I'm pretty sure this will be bahleeted soon, so could someone make a copy of/tell me how to make a copy of it? Poor lil ol me can't even use LJ-cut... *sobs and is woeful*

11:48pm: God, I love Libertines fangirls. No, REALLY.
Take one Band (Libertines, most specifically) RPS comm, complete with batshit insane fangirls who kinda make my head hurt, as a rule.

Add lasarus, who is either a VERY EFFECTIVE troll or a very confused newbie.

Lasarus starts with a post of a slashy HIM pic.

And, oh, she is punished. Over 30 comments.

And then she tries again.

Troll or newbie, in either case she's currently thrown the comm into an absolute tizzy on levels not even reached by the revealing of Pete Doherty's penis. Completely unrelated posts refer it, and no one seems to get the idea of 'Do not feed the energy creature'. (NOTE: I comment on this post. But it was mostly out of amusement at seeing someone using an icon I made back when I was crap at the icon thing.)
