2:21am: BlueMondays/GAFF Wank: Part Deux
Alright. My first official wank. I feel all grown up now.

So we all remember BlueMondays, right? From the GAFF wank like, a week ago? On this thread she posted a fic from Sycophant Hex. The author showed up with a posse of maybe-anonymice-and-maybe-sockpuppet friends, and wank ensued.

Well, BlueMondays is back with yet another fic from the same site. She makes the sweeping generalization that 98% of fiction is crap, and Azazello takes offense because she thinks BM is talking about her fiction (read: the SH site), as she is an admin and a writer there. (To be truthful, it also seems as though she's upset she isn't on BlueMondays' favorites list.)

Anyway, BM replies, then Azazello retorts again. They start talking about flaming or something and the other wanked thread is brought up. My eyes glaze over at this point, until I get to the part where Azazello decides she's not going to post anymore.

Oh, and what I forgot to say was that the above is my final comment.* Not because I think I am wrong, but essentially I said all I wanted to.

In other words, "Last word--I win! Eat it!" This final statement was made in a double post. Then BlueMondays replies and takes offense to the implied insults in Azazello's posts (Az basically says BM is intolerant and has no debate skills).

Azazello's response? She comes back to the thread, of course. Her reply post is filled with beautiful wankage, but I'll leave you with this fine gem of a statement:

Edit: I almost forgot. BlueMondays posted this thread in The Antidote forum on GAFF after Azazello first announced she was admin over at Sycophant. She gives Azazello's fic a good review and amends her previous statement that there are only 4 of her favorite writers on the site. It's not that important, but it's backstory nonetheless.

3:12am: The end of a wank era?
An old-time FW favorite is back back back, baby. And this time it may really be the end.

Turimel visits LA and confronts one of her Bit of Earth antagonists, Abby... and don't worry, she didn't forget about Amy either. Multiple postscripts abound and there's even a vacation slideshow. A tiny sample:

We became part of the freakshow. Those tourists really got their money's worth that day. At first Abby was the only one there, so Sue and I concentrated on her. There was just so much to say! Both of us had been pretty calm up to that point but there was just so much pent up rage my hands were shaking. We started out just kinda letting go, dishing out the insults, telling everyone around that she was a con artist, etc. Loosening up a little. I showed Flabby the book and said something like "I have the book I know you're dying to read" and she said, in just the OILIEST voice ever, "Why thank you" and started to take it...I snatched it back out of her hands and said, "Oh, but you've gotta pay for it."

This may be the last, the very very last, of the Bit of Earth saga, a Fandom_Wank classic. Enjoy the bittersweet dregs.

9:46pm: Troy Fanfic Wank Like Woah

Scooby176 posts a Troy fanfic called Passion. It's pretty unremarkable in most respects... only thing that stands out is that it pairs Achilles with Andromache. But that's okay, right? I mean, in a fandom with that much Pretteh, anything that moves is going to be paired with anything else that moves... people who like the pairing will read it, people who don't, won't...

Oh, if only it worked that way.

Atleast THIS is, since there is a huge warcraft fandom.
And this wank happens in it.

See, there is this massive multiplayer blah roleplaying game. Its apparently very cool, and stuff. Everyone somehow loves it. Now, see, there is some big boss in there. She's a meanie. Big dragon and all.
Americans are cool(thats what fanboys think, I am not saying americans are not, do not get me wrong), so when they do not manage to beat that boss in ages means simply that it is unbeatable.

So, omg. The evil guys on korea DID beat it. BEFORE Americans did. OMGNOES

And all hell breaks loose.
