biscuitgirl posts in a community for residents of Nashville. She asks if anyone else there likes Jpop. djmedieval replies, asking if biscuitgirl thinks Japan is the "THE BEST THING EVAR AND EVAR KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ^_^" or if they just have a thing for Jpop music, and then it beings!

I know absolutely nothing about Jpop and I only found this entry, because djmedieval posted something about Jpop fangirls at antifangirls. It's not very big, but an amusing wank.

If there's a Deuce Bigalow fandom, I wonder if they're as upset about this as Rob Schneider is.

Patrick Goldstein, a LA Times reporter, says that Hollywood is no longer interested in making Oscar quality films, citing Deuce Bigalow and its sequel as an example of the low quality movies currently in style. Rob Schneider, star of said films, takes out a full page ad in Variety in response, which is a lot funnier that any film he's made.

10:26am: Zelda Fanart wank pointed out to me from a friend
A bit dated, and a bit small, but still amusing.

Fanartist Magalink posted a piece of fanart back in September of Anju and Kafei from the Majora's Mask addition to the Legend of Zelda family. They are presumably in bed, presumably naked, and presumably having sex. But only presumably.

People freak out and froth at the mouth, of course.

11:45pm: I did not plagairize so there...
First wank, I'm not even sure that this qualifies so bear with me. It's all so quiet and small. Yu Gi Oh! plagiarism wank!

First Stage: Not Wank. A week or two ago a couple of Big Name writers, Lomelindi and Pysche, in the Seto/Yami list started to post posts of warning of people copying scenes and dialogues from their fics. Several people start to agree and mildly disagree but it's all polite and all. The co-mod Shakster does his/her research and posts a notice about plagiarism, so far so good. Then the culprit Seto's Darkness owns up and says she hopes she still will remain in the group even after what she's done.

Second Stage: Elektra says onlist that Seto's Darkness copied this fic and turned it into a Seto/Yami fic by just changing the names.

Third Stage: Seto's Darkness leaves this wanky rant erasing all her fics from FF.N, not only the controversial ones.
