6:03pm: HouseWank-- we're a real fandom now!
Okay, wanklet, and it doesn't really go anywhere. But the comment totally pinged my "WTF dude"-dar.

On metaquotes, perpet posts a quote by sam42, in which she expresses her desire for House/Wilson "hot gay sexing" on screen.

The very first reply, from riotlounge: Okay, some people really gotta understand that gay people don't need to be in every single damn thing...like EVER.

So far the thread's stayed polite... ALAS. But it made me blink.

10:13pm: Stargate: "And we're wanking..."
First wank. Use lube. (I didn't even stumble upon it - 'twas pointed out to me by an Anonymouse.)

Stargate SG-1 can't make the kind of claims of LotR or HP, but it sure has its share of wank-downs. ("This wank ain't big enuff fer the two'v us!")

The LJ sgdarkfic is created. Mostly Daniel-centric, and Jack/Daniel darkfic. Sure, fine, yasureyabetcha, whatever.

And two weeks in, it suddenly turns out that the creator holds a grudge against certain authors/moderators from the Daniel-centric board 'Our Stargate'. They are banned from the journal. No posty, no recc-y.

Eh, wanky but whatever. Hissyfits are common in this fandom, meow-booms only slightly less so. Come on, people, just because we sent hate mail politely-worded letters of extreme disagreement to the production/creative crew doesn't mean we can't all be civilised, sane, accepting types, right? RIGHT???

11:29pm: A small FAKE wank
The FAKE fandom might be small, but its wank is unforgettable...
Wildefyre is a fanfiction writer. Even though her stories aren’t particularly good, everytime she recieves any sort of criticism she claims she’s been flamed and vows to never write again. At least, of course, until her fangirls beg her to keep enlighting their lives.
