12:05am: ComicGetFuzzy Community is no More!
I'm torn about whether or not to post this here because I did play a role in this wank. Although I don't think it necessarily belongs to i_wank community either because myself and the other first wanker had left the situation before the major part of the wank began. So I'm putting it here. Tell me if you think it should be moved.

Once upon a time there was a community called ComicGetFuzzy, who's only purpose was to put up the daily Get Fuzzy comment. People could comment, usually one sentences about how funny it was. Or whatever.

After myself and local81 finished our wanking the mod suddenly steps in. Now, at this point things had been forgotten. But her reaction was to ban local81 and then offered me an apology. Even though I had as much part of the wank as he did.

Because the comments have all been deleted I only have that because it was left in my email. But several members of the community (rightifully) bring up that I should have been banned as well. Now, note that neither myself or local81 are even members to start with and have said so a number of times. Once again, we forget all about it.

That is until the next daily post that offered this message

( I Banned Him! Be Nice!!! ).

Now it should be pointed out that the majority of the community had no idea that this had even occured. But with this fresh announcement by the mod a number of people found out about it and checked out the situation. I was unable to read the posts that were made to the mod about this because, like I stated earlier, they were deleted.

So you think, after that, the mods would let it go. But no. Another message appeared on the following day.

Again, people disagreed. I don't have any exact quotes but people once again argued that I should have been banned as well and that the mods actions were uncalled for because the situation had been seattled long before they arrived.

So, as of today, the community is no more.

( Cue the Cliche Angry Mod Good-Bye Post )

The greatest part of this whole thing? Myself and local81 are getting along very well now and find the mods behavior far more entertaining then we ever were.

By the way, if anyone happens to have quotes from this comment so I can add them.

[Edit: Oh yes, and the troll is actually responding to most of the comments. So.. I guess it's a troll that talks back, hence it's not really a troll.]

6:47pm: There's a Wank A-Brewing in HPfen
Remember the kerfuffle in HPfen that ignited the drive to help 4Christina.org? The one where Heidi8 made a big deal about the charitable blood that flowed through her sainted veins like milk and honey and then refused to help the woman with rare cancer until fandom pressure demanded it?

It's back.

It seems the erstwhile Heidi is pimping charitable causes, including breast cancer awareness. Fabulous. Philanthropy should be applauded. But when Sapphsmum, the rare cancer victim from the previous wank, shows up to ask if Heidi could get the word out about her website, she gets the cold shoulder .

Sapphsmum laments the rebuff in her journal, and Heidi shows up to defend herself.

Not big yet, but boy, do I smell potential.

ETA: It seems Heidi has decided to post a link, after all. Sort of. She's posted a link to Sapphmum's LJ and is bemoaning the unfair persecution, woe!.

ETA Redux: Upon closer examination, I have changed the wording of the last link. If I'm going to pillory her, I want to do it for the right reason. I'm a discerning philistine.

ETA, Act III: Crack-smoking Jesus on a water bong! This wank has spiralled far, far beyond the bounds of even marginal sanity, and I'm flabbergasted. When I posted it, I thought there would be a collective snort and eyeroll at Heidi's selective fandom charity, and then the community would go in search of wankier pastures. And yes, in my heart of hearts, I was hoping it would get Christina a little help.

I did not anticipate the firestorm and the deluge of wank it created. Had I known it would degenerate into frothing, mindless vitriol, trolling and flamewarring on an ill woman's LJ, and numerous attempts to discredit her story, I never would have posted.

I thought about freezing posts earlier, but as I am not a regular member of Fandom_Wank-and likely never will be-I didn't feel I had the right to do so; after all this is Fandom_Wank, and snark is the occupational hazard you risk when you play here. Who the hell was I to wade in like some overbearing den mother and demand that everyone play nice?

A vain, craven little part of me wants to leave the entry public in order to see how high the spooge count goes, but thankfully, it is easily ignored.

This needs to stop. Enough damage has been done when none should have been done at all. As of right now, this post is being flocked. If that doesn't help and the shrieking continues, comments will be disallowed. I am sorry this wank has degenerated so horrendously.

I think I've a thing for brothers wank (not like that. Well, if it's the Fiennes wanking...)

So. There's in livejournal a community dedicated to the talented Fiennes brother, Ralph and Joseph (fiennes_daily). You can post Ralph, you can post Joseph, and everybody's happy! You don't have to agree on which is the hotter. You may even be one of the few that think both are!

Up until now.

rfienneslover posts a stat of nominations both brothers have had, declaring Ralph is the king.
