2:17am: Survivor downloaded eps wank!
Been wondering for a while why there is so little reality TV wank, and now we get it twice in one night. :) This one features oft-wanked [info]finestdrops who claimed he reported illegal postings of Survivor to CBS attorneys. [info]mage67, who frequently posts eps for download (and *requires* a thanks, which is a bit...odd...) takes issue with this. Calls go out to ban finestdrops, and modsweigh in.

Bonuses: more wank from [info]finestdrops, regarding tonight's ep (WARNING: spoilers!) and the community he made for hatin' on tattooed contestant Angie.

Trollish, but kinda nice seeing my reality fandom finally making with the spooge. :)

8:35am: You can make wank from everyday household items.
This is more the ghost of a wank, as the best stuff had been bahleeted before I found it, but it appears to have sprung from the teenisest thing

In the community [info]manchester for the British city of that name, someone posed the question Does anyone know where I can buy goth baby clothes from in Manchester?

This provokes a huge tower of deletia that seems to cover single parenthood, being "an ugly geek" and abortion.

The original poster returns to sulk in public.
10:09am: Love's Wind is a little bitter today...
Kinda small and somewhat disjointed, but it's anime fans wanking again.

AnimeonDVD recently posted a review of the first volume of Koi Kaze, an anime that revolves around a brother and sister and their feelings for each other.

Over on the forum page, people are generally kind. A few people are creeped out by the subject matter, but most agree that Koi Kaze is a pretty good little show.

However, someone has to point out the obvious. This begins a few pages of (polite) debate over whether or not incest is genetic. Then indigo0086 feels the need to start something.

From that point on, the rest of the discussion turns into a half-successful debate and a string of supposed zingers/attempts at showing off.

Some highlights:

I AM NOT AN ANIMAL! I AM A HUMAN BEING!

I'll show you how liberal I can be!

"What's so wrong with incest?" Teiresias has an answer.

There are no words.
11:47am: Fanficrants rides-er, wanks again!
It starts off with a seemingly innocent rant about heterophobia and why it's stupid...

Then comes this:

But there is No Need To Whine when someone writes a romance story with male characters you like and they're not buggering each other in the ass every fifteen minutes, instead choosing to follow the natural human tendency to, I dunno, procreate with the opposite sex?

And people strongly disagree.

It's not a wank of epic porportions, but some of the OP's statements...lesbianism is trendy? ALL humans naturally have the urge to make babies with the opposite sex? Huh?

Misfits/Jem Femslash Wank

Notable mostly for this quote:

"Xena is so straight. That show went so wrong when producers let fans have too much say. Gah...even heroins aren't safe."

Are there words? I'm not sure.

3:37pm: Happy Anniversary Wankers!
Today is [info]fandom_wank's second anniversary here on Journalfen. Let us give thanks to [info]zorrorojo and [info]robin_serrano for giving us a home, after the great LJ and Blurty TOSings of '03.

And let us reminisce by reading the first f_w post on JF! [info]ktnb should get a bottle of champagne pint of Guinness. Oh, how young and innocent we were back in the day - we were such cute little shitflinging liars and backstabbing cunts! It's like looking at baby pictures of a wee!Hive Vagina.

(Okay, ew, sorry for that last image. Carry on.)

ETA: In a fit of nostalgia, not because I begged her Hnky dug up some banners that she made back when f_w was still on Livejournal. You can see a few of the old injokes there. Cut to save your friendspage... )

5:54pm: In ohnotheydidn't, an article is posted in which Sandra Bullock puts forth the opinion that having a child is a basically selfish act and that too many people breed who really shouldn't.

Hilarity (and over 600 comments) ensues.

A few highlights:

This thread:
"you should probably respect the fact that some people want children of their own and not reject children that no one wants in the first place..."

And then there's the inevitable pregnant lady, only weeks away from birthing, who has taken personal offence to Sandra Bullock's statements.

And even more from people who want nothing more than one of their own some day.
