5:04pm: Private Servers
Ragnarok Online Private Server Spooge.

The topic started out pretty wanky, private servers are a tongue in cheek discussion among the community but never the less, someone asks the question :
Will my real account get deleted if I go to illegal private servers?

A member replies : But there ARE legal private servers!! (only not.)

And then another says private servers are for... "cheap bastards who are very selfish and want to take money away from Gravity and make iRO get updates even more slowly, or for losers who can't hack it on the main servers so they have to cheat to get what they want."

Finally, someone disagrees and wanks over the keyboard. "Kindly go fuck yourself! :)"

...The post pretty much degenerates to cockfests and more talk of fucking yourself.

DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE BASTARDS! (Translation : listen to me instead, cause private servers are TEH K00L!1)

And finally...

Then he/she/it promptly leaves with: OMG you guys are so rude I'm leaving!

For reference, this is where he was apparently flamed mightily. I dunno about anyone else, but I'm not seeing a lot of flames over there, in fact the heat is on low if it's on at all.

Over on LJ's ygo_icons community, raindrop_jewel posts a few icons that are manips of different characters paired off with Kaiba. (I always knew the Shachou was a man!whore...) I personally think they're rather decent for manips but I can see why it might not be everyone's cuppa.

The first two comments are more than civil and then miss_kaiba enters and voices her dissatifaction(?). No, it's not shipping wank.

Uhh... not that I want to start a flame-war, but your icons aren't that good. I mean, c'mon. Using images from two completely different seasons does not an icon make, nor does it bode well with using images from two completely different scemes where the characters are no-where near each other.

But seriously, you've got to be joking.

Wank follows because as soon as someone claims they're not trying to stir up shit, much shit is stirred.

azure15 immediately jumps to the icon-maker's defense and counters with a defensive, if not wanky, reply.

miss_kaiba insists the icons are in "bad taste". And a few people turn their head in confusion at that statement.

The actual quality of the icons aside, most people have a problem with miss_kaiba's attitude in her initial post.

Never mind what I said earlier because wrong_trousers has a few problems with the ships but most of all, insists and keeps insisting that miss_kaiba's initial comment and subsequent replies are first amendment rights to freedom of speech (translates to "the right to be an absolute asshat").

alexi_serenitia tells both side to STFU because neither is helping the situation and zodiacstargazer wonders when the YGO fandom went to hell in a handbasket.

And in the midst of all this, our icon-maker in question, raindrop_jewel is nowhere to be seen.

Go First Amendment! I'm sure this is exactly what our forefathers had in mind. Forget about protesting unjust wars and debating "legitimate moral" issues.
