2:45am: SF fans getting nearly everything they want
It's far too vague and Usenetty to call a proper wank, so I apologise for a lack of links, but reading all the rants from hardcore Doctor Who fans who hate Christopher Eccleston for leaving is too much fun to leave alone.

The posters got so heated that major registration-only board Outpost Gallifrey allegedly had to close down for a while and the bitching has overtaken discussion of the actual new series. An added layer of fun is that the original quitting announcement was made very close to April Fools' Day.

1:21pm: Small fanficrants wank
ladybirdsleeps and aguynamedgoo quibble over incest, fanfiction squicks, and this sentiment:

"So the moral of the story is if you like incest fic, fine. I don't mind them much myself either. But there are certain times when you shouldn't even think about it, let alone write it, unless squick is what you were going for."

Very tiny and might not even grow that much. But both parties were getting pretty vocal, especially the OP.

Okay, I have been featured on Fandom Wank before, but it was a sock journal.

Now I want to get featured on f_w with my real journal. I asked my friends how to best go about accomplishing this, and more than one suggested joining this community.

So here I am. ^^ I'm also kinda/sorta into FMA, so that's a plus, but that's not really the main reason I joined.

It'd be really great if you guys could all start wanking now!

It's hard to the tell if the person is being serious, and the initial reaction is one of "bwah?"

But soon the comment count explodes, resulting in something that's...not all that wanky, but pretty funny in parts.

So Fandom_wank has a stalker journal: wank_watch, which is claiming that one of the fandom wank spin offs, we_wank has been turned into the private playground of it’s mod llama_treats.

So I decided to check, and sure enough we_wank is now a closed comm. My membership to the comm. is pending llama_treats approval.

It's still small, but the sheer audacity of someone claiming a spin off of the fandom wank brand as their own private pissing ground struck this long time mousie as wanky as hell, so enjoy.
