12:52pm: DeviantART, you've done it again!
This is a short, but amusing wank, and it's most likely to grow. The other day, I was browsing the DA forums and came upon this little fight. I bookmarked the page, hoping splooge would come, and it has!

~mooterfick posts in the movie forums, claiming Sin City "is the best movie that I have seen in a LONG time". They must get out much. People reply, agreeing, and featuring the occasional "no, this isn't THE best" reply.

Then,*pablov11 says the movie is crap. ~mooterfick is pissed.

You know what.. you can burn in hell for all of eternity.. if you didnt see the amazing skill put into that movie you must watch movies like Pee Wee's Big Adventure and think they are the greatest movies on earth.. good luck with Pokemon 3000 ya freak..

O_O All righty then! They fight a bit more, and then ~Follicle demands to know why *pablov11 doesn't like the movie in black and white. *shakes head* Go look for yourself.

3:01pm: wicked wank of the west, part dos
yes, more wicked icons wank! sigh.
ok, here's how it goes. chocolicious posts an icon that has a picture of Elphaba doing what looks suspiciously like the nazi salute, and she writes "Hail [sic] Hilter!" on it. a couple people reply and say things like, "I know I shouldn't think that's funny, but I do!!"
Of course, then people start complaining.
Some highlights:
i'm not really trying to put down your icons, but wicked is def supposed to be a family-oriented good morals show and that is really offensive.

firstly, Hitler is never something to joke about, when people joke they loose touch with how real the holocaust was. Second, idina menzel is jewish, think about yourself, as a jew, saying "heil hitler," i dont think a jew or anyone else should ever joke about saying that, let alone be seen on a website. It was just in very poor taste and im sorry your not offended, i think you should be.

The person who posted this icon apparantly wanted to get a rise from people, for all we know, he/she is some neo-nazi skin head who found a new venue to express his/her hatred, and is impressed with him/herself because not everyone was offended by his/her icon.

i do find this offensive. It may be funny to you, but imagine if someone made an icon that offended your religion.

Not very big, considering, but there are still a few gems. if it doesn't die down soon, I'm probably going to just delete the post, so check it out while you can.

Lost Gay Character Wank, Part II.

Some highlights:

Up till now, I would have said unquestionably that if there was a gay character, it would be Boone. For one thing (and I know this is going to sound horribly stereotypical) he LOOKS gay. The first time I laid eyes on his character in the pilot episode I thought to myself "Yeah - he's gay. No doubt about it." Now, though, that option is no longer on the table. So if there IS a gay character, who could it be?

we are really speculating on the supposed sexuality of a fictionalized chatacter? debating whether or not someone is gay based on satistical chance is the same as saying one in three women will get sexually assaulted in their life...i wonder who got raped? was it claire? kate? shannon? i wonder who got raped?

if you ask me this thread is gay. I mean have we gotten to the point where we're discussing stuff based on nothing but conjecture. actually not even conjecture, more like, nothing more then applying statistics of the general population to the population of the plane.
