3:45am: Sublunary mini-wank: "Read the goddamn bio!"
It looks like our good friends at the "mind-provoking" webcomic Sublunary are wanking again, and just as hard as before.

An update is posted to Sublunary's Updates LJ, only it's making fun of people asking questions as to why a character is floating (I figured it was just a mistake from the artist), and that the people who asked were "not good enough fans" (and n00bs apparently). Apparently you have to read all the bios or you're a horrible person.

For every person who doesn't read bios and stuff because they expected it to actually be part of the story already, SHAME ON YOU.

[edit: Thanks to a mouse, we bring in racist wank too! According to the mouse, "there was some wank earlier on why the characters look the same and why there isn't any characters of any other skin color. It got deleted tho." Apparently the creator said this: "Oh for godsake, we're not being fucking racist. It's not important to the story to have fucking African American people in the comic". And here's the fallout. ]

6:10am: So lizbee makes a post about the new Australian law. iibnf then decides that chan writers are pedophiles. People are pissed.

As for what the deleted comment said? snapetoy is happy to tell us. Then it's discovered that iibnf has in fact written "kiddie porn". Ouch. Much backpedaling and claims of "parody" ensue. She also seems a bit unclear on exactly what chan is.

8:39am: TDS RPS + Icons + True Fan Cred = ?
The Daily Show RPS comm has managed to be calm and properly fangirly ever since the Wonkette outing. Who would've thought the next kerfluffle is about... icons?

No, I didn't see that coming either. But apparently LJ icons are SERIOUS BUSINESS. Oh, and unless you hate every right-leaning pundit you're not a REAL TDS fan, but just an overhormonal fangirl with pussy for brains. Watch as phantasmrose brings in the Fandom Police! Cower, you fake fans, and fear!

2:14pm: Unrest in the JHtM fandom
I was pointed to a Mmy community on DA by a friend of mine, saying that there is wank involved. DA seems to have eaten some of it, which is cited as YamaMango trying to be nice and saying that she liked a certain person's artwork, and Ted-Drakness, who had some shit go down in his journal, too, blew up at her. I'll stick to the comm for now. The comments started here.

karmyn75 makes a post about heterophobia, femmeslash and lube that prompts valartd to declare she objects, on principle, to males writing girlslash. People ask if, in that case, she also objects to women writing male slash. She accuses them of yanking her chain.

Pretty small. Might grow (though it'll never be huge), but even if it doesn't, it's already pretty WTFy.

11:00pm: Gaia? With Wank? Surely you jest!

So this month's donation items were a Butterfly Mantilla or an Arachnid Chestplate (with the variations thereof.) And as usual, someone's complaining. Shaoli posts in Q&F to say the butterfly wings look like shit. And she should know, cause she's a "pixel artist". According to her, they look stuck on and don't follow the avatar body line.

Wank starts, including a post from an Admin holding up his support for the wings and all sorts of fawning.
