3:14am: Muppet Wizard of Oz aired this past Friday on ABC, and many muppet fans were excited about it and couldn't wait to see it. Afterwards, reviews in a thread over the on the Muppet Central site are mixed, some loving it and others outright hating it with a passion.

And for the most part, in the first 7-8 pages, everyone gets along, accepting each others opinions. Then it starts going slowly downhill. MWoO starts taking it personally that people are criticizing the movie. Accusations of racism start about page 11 after someone brings up The Wiz in comparison to other versions of the story. By pages 10-11, MWoO starts attacking anyone who voices their opnions against the movie (especially seems to get into it with Emerald).

And just for "Wha...?" factor, an indepth analysis of Miss Piggy's hair throughout the movie and what each style meant.

Everquest is a popular online game that has had a following for years now. When you play EQ2, you have to follow rules, and one of those rules is what you can name your character. EQ2 doesn't want you giving your characters well-known names from history, religion, or popular culture, vulgar names, and names with titles, among other things. This never goes down well with people who want to name their characters names like Darthjesus and Princessofcarnage, and arguments over this always seem to eventually turn to Hitler's name being thrown around, such as what happened in this older thread. (And you can't call your character Hitler, either.) If you see someone violating this policy in the game, you can report the name and it will be changed if the GMs agree with you.

9:11pm: Pointed out by an anonymouse on the wank_report community. This wank DOES amuse me, but I imagine the general reaction from the fandom_wankers will be one of "been there, done that, got the goggles". ^^;;

In short, someone posts a cute White Day pic on the Fullmetal-Alchemist.com picture gallery. Said pic, IMHO, does reek pretty strongly of the Ed X Winry pairing(and to a lesser extent, the Roy X Hawkeye pairing), but fans don't see it that way.

Even though it's mostly dead(I think- there's a few recent comments that are pretty wanky, but the climax was in late 2004 and January), you guys might enjoy this because:

a) Both sides come off as equally idiotic.
b) It's a yaoi vs. het pairing war sparked by a fluffy White Day promo pic, fergawdssake.
c) It's Fullmetal Alchemist fandom.

9:15pm: Happy fun NIN wank
my 6 yr old son has been a fan of Nails since he was 3 (he seriously grew up listen'g to NIN since he was a baby-"The Fragile" 's chorus was the 1st song he sang) ... Is there any way to edit-out the curse words at home?? i don't want to just eleminate songs in all just cause they have a few bad words in them. and i really don't want my 6 yr old to be singing "i want to fuck you like an animal" on the playground. Original grammar and spelling intact.

Needles to say, there's plenty of "OMG YOU SUCK AT PARENTING!" along with a little "Let kids listen to what they want. I did and I turned out just fine!" support and, of course, the obligatory Beatles references.
