12:29am: Over at livejournal there is a pretty little community called wtf_inc, which has roughly 2000 members. The name of the community is pretty self-explantory, anything that causes the viewer to go "wtf?" earns the right to be posted and spread throughout the internet. It's like a fandom for those who can't look away from the crazy.

Over the past few days a number of people have posted a link to this website which features a person/doll/whatever falling through bubbles.

Earlier today hildo18121 posted the following with a link to this website:

And this version is different, instead of bubbles there are cat heads. Adds to the complete "wtfness" of the original. The majority of people are amused. Except brn_eyd_grl who can't see the difference between the two versions and says so here. After the OP comments about the difference she replies with:

Apparently her word is God.

Then the wank takes a whole different direction and goes off into animal rights all because of hildo18121's icon. This resulted in the following quotes:

3:20pm: Mariah Carey is a Fandom, Yeah?
What happens when you combine a meglomaniacal musical diva looking to score some free publicity, a homeless man used as a prop, and a Livejournal community dedicated to dirty celebrity gossip that also, strangely enough, seems full of homeless advocates and those who think that the homeless (and I quote) "smell like piss, yell at people and sometimes follow and try to start shiet"???

A wank this strange, apparently! Seriously, it's the only one of its kind that I've ever personally witnessed. It's like the Mad Libs of wank-- it must be seen to be experienced. It all begins with one poor sap opining that "homeless people freak the shiet out of me...especially at night. propz to [Mariah Carey] going that close to him" and just explodes after that.

Addendum to the wank. Apparently, later in the thread, there's some freakin' idiot poor soul who valiantly tries to stem the tide of disgust against Mariah Carey by claiming, hell, who doesn't take pictures of the homeless every once in a while? It wasn't as though she was hurting him!!1

Yeah. Just... yeah. I had no idea that taking photos of the homeless was the new "in" thing" for tourists, but hey, I haven't traveled for a bit. Who knows what's in vogue nowadays?

7:15pm: Churchofuchiha is a fairly large community where Naruto fans perve quietly over the amazing amounts of sexual tension dripping from the screen whenever Sasuke and Itachi are both on it. It's usually fairly busy but, for a Naruto community encouraging gay incest, it's usually surprisingly free of flamewars.

At least until an Itachi rper decides to scold them in-character for fantasizing about him sleeping with his brother.

The rper was joking, but nonetheless, Maya_slash is Not Amused, and wants to make very certain that everyone understands this.

Alas, the mod froze all comments and tells everyone to shut up and behave in a non-wanky post. Spoilsport.
