2:49am: Lord Voldemort - Hot or Not? Wank
I posted this adaptation of the wank_report mouse report before I realized it was already a great geyser of creamy splooge at i_wank, and didn't delete it because it was in the review queue. My apologies for catching all of you in the backwash of my tragic death from stupid. Should I just delete this one?

sugarpuss, the mod of the LJ ratings group devialicious, invited don_voldie to join her community. How sweet! don_voldie was less than pleased but more than amused, as befits, well, Lord Voldemort. Don_voldie's player posts to bad_roleplayers_suck about ratings groupies who spam other people's journals without even bothering to check whether the journals are real.

One of the community members suggested that the invited RPG character should go ahead and post an application in the rating community. Lord Voldemort does just that. (No link, it's bahleeted.)

Needless to say, the community members are Not Laughing and set to wanking with a vengeance. There are mentions of HP being confused with D&D, bahleeted posts, banned members all over the place, and lotsa sex.

The mod, after flying into a hissy-fit, goes off and makes several more posts proving that she doesn't give a shit.

The wank continues in personal livejournals as the mod spams to prove that she... didn't spam in the first place? Some of the ripest stuff is here because the mod hasn't managed to delete it yet.

With the community maintainer spamming personal livejournals in her quest to prove that she...didn't spam in the first place? And then she clears up a few things in a flocked Devalicious post.

Meanwhile, over on bad_rpers_suck, they're having a field day.

4:10am: Star Wars brings teh Crazy
Extra, Extra! Read all about it! Howard wants you all to know that he knows how to make Star Wars!

The movies were wrong, but the books were right.

His dog should be Chewbacca (nevermind that Chewie's based on George's dog), and that Patrick Swayze should be Han Solo, not that no-name actor Harrison Ford! How can Howard claim that he can do a better job of visualizing the the series than the trained artists at Industrial Light & Magic? Because his art is CLEARLY of higher caliber.

Howard also has never seen the movies either, by the way. But that doesn't matter, he doesn't have to see a movie to review it or make judgments!

Because not even George Lucas knows Star Wars like Howard does.

I just wanted you to know that me and my friends had a great laugh about those topics - and especially about your passion about wasting your time on such a childish negativity.

Geez you people have nothing better to do that flaming a young successful girl. I guess that a 40-year-old professional commercial artist just cannot stand a 24-year-old model with looks and brains and attitude - and success.

9:47pm: VGCats counts as a fandom, I suppose...
This isn't HP wank. Rejoice.

Scott Ramsoomair, the artist behind the popular webcomic VGCats, posts a new comic strip about Jack Thompson, an attorney often cited in the media for his views on the effects of obscenity and violence in popular media. (Shamelessly copy-pasted from Wikipedia, bite me.)

Somehow, Jack Thompson hears about this, and for some reason unbestknown to everyone, decides to forward Scott a copy of a mail he sent to the ESRB.

Scott's readers are obviously not pleased. Jack Thompson is given every single insult and witty retort available on the english language.

Tim of the Ctrl-Alt-Del webcomic isn't happy either, and dedicates the latest comic strip to Mr. Thompson.

10:35pm: Harmony: The Reckoning
Over on LJ, angua9 posts an incredibly long anti-Harmionian manifesto, wherein she names names and accuses Harmionians of misunderstanding love and being elitist bitches.

The comments start out as shouts of "Word" and the like, though there's a lovely comment comparing Harmionians to Death Eaters in the middle. Somewhere around page two, the Harmionians show up, wondering why we can't all just get along.

There would be more links, but her layout makes it hard. It's been linked over at fanthropology, wherein the H/Hr shippers have thus far been compared to Randites and angua9 has been compared to the Sith.

Not too much wank yet, but it seems past the clairvoyantwank stage.

ETAA: And then, Falcon the Harmionian showed up and everything went really wanky. He replies to being wanked on his LJ, which more or less boils down to "LOL, I did it on purpose!"
