12:33pm: Who are you, Usagi Kou?
seris post in Cosplayfucks "Who is this Sailormoon cosplayer who's a bitch?". Sailormoon catches wind of this thread and posts. She then accuses Seris of being a bitch, Seris flings back that Usagi Kou's a cunt, and it all snowballs from there.

2:55pm: DeAr YoNMei: REVeaL YOuR IDEntITY oR ELse
This wank has it all. Blackmail threats, sockpuppets, private e-mails gone public, LJ abuse, private posts made public, then made private, then made public. Can you keep up?

It starts here with yonmei and her post about someone in the Edinburgh area threatening her with blackmail so she has to reveal her alternate identity to the world rather than let the blackmailer win.

My favorite part of the wank is where a friend of Yonmei suggests that LJ Abuse should be contacted to report this crime:

"If it were me, I would just do what she did to those of us she was fighting with and threaten her with reporting her to LJ. Actually, if I were feeling petty I probably would just report it and send them the email she sent you, and ask for copies of anything from her LJ with your name in it in the last few months."

The alleged blackmailer jumps into the fray and posts her own rebuttal here along with private e-mails to prove she didn't threaten Yonmei. Comments are disabled.

Jane/Yonmei ponders that maybe Elance is upset about her dual identities because Jane/Yonmei is known for her harsh criticism of authors on Critical Edge and FCA-L lists and Elance is an author. But that theory is quickly disproved.

8:46pm: cosplay wank

kakyuu_kou decided to clear things up on cosplayfucks

so people will have a better understanding of her "costumes".  She made herself look like an idiot in the process.

11:54pm: Conan vs Jon Stewart wank.... Emmys are so unfair!
The Emmy Awards are now over, and now we can prepare for the wank. Tonight's challengers: the cheated Conan O'Brien fans vs the Daily Show.

Is this a sane Conan fan, or someone still in shock? -- I honestly think s/he means well, but this will only create more wank because s/he is trying to be the 'voice of reason'. (It's a locked comment, but seriously, joining the community to read it is so worth it)

"Simply put - they technically vote based on 2 episodes of the show... they don't watch every night like we do. and I personally believe that Daily Show can easily pull two episodes that (with the guest included) are beginning to end non-stop funy. Complete laughter. Conan simply can't do that. Even if he has a particularly funny interview, there's still serious talk, serious movie promotion, long stories - for two guests - then you need either an amazing musical act or a really funny comedian to bring the last 10 minutes to an up. Conan is an hourlong show and even when his monologue is the best monologue ever and the opening bit is a hillarious remote or great Clutch Cargo, that's virtually out of memory by the time they've watched 2 interviews, musical guest and the end credits start rolling"




It's still wanking. It's beautiful. Maybe it'll come to a climax soon and we can watch it explode all over the screens.
