When Wannabe Authors Come Back.

A little background: Skeren Dreamera (aka forgottenlover) was once an annoying BNF author in the GW fandom as of last year. She was involved in tiny flame wars on a couple of GW mailing lists (most notably the 4x1-1x4ML) and her soul contribution to the fandom was a lovely, long winded OOC piece of fic called "The Missing Piece" (found here).

So basically, I'm not surprised that she's being called out. Again. I am surprised at the depth of how wanky and disturbed she seems to be. Thank god I never met her. WTF.

10:29am: Mini-Wank: Your fanaticism killed the Box Office
There appears to be a slight mini-wank between one of the writers over on CHUD.com and the Browncoats (fans of the TV show Firefly and movie Serenity). And Joss Whedon himself - the creator of both - has just waded in.

The box office numbers for the weekend are in and Serenity, (the movie based off of the canceld TV series Firefly), took in $10.1 million, slightly below the predicted $13 to $17 million weekend. However, this news caused CHUD.com writer Devin Faraci to call out the Browncoats for being "evangelical" about Fierfly/Serenity; to the point that it turned people - who weren't rabid fans of the show or anything else Joss has written, but who liked Science Fiction stories and may have gone to see the movie - off to it, and that's why the movie "flopped." (Requiem for the Browncoats)

Joss himself wrote a reply to it over on the offical Serenity fan board (which is copy-pasted over onto Whedonesque), in which he says yes the numbers are soft, but it's the next few weeks that are critical for the movie. And that he wont stand for any bashing from anyone about his - and the show's/movie's - fans.

10:03pm: THE CHYYYYLDE!
Remember that delicious wank involving child molesters and the people who hate them? If not, 'tis here.

So anyway, after our comments, disturbances, blah blah blah, the poor child-hating community cf_hardcore is upset because there are people who aren't cool with their hatred of all things small and chubby. The begin making anonymous posts on Fandom Wank, and even go so far as to create journalfen accounts so that they can post on our boards as actual people with clever names.

You'd think it would end there...

Nah. They're still upset by our whimsical antics, and continue to rant about their beliefs, and how wrong we are, and wank on and on and on until the sun comes up.

They're not bad people for being child free, however, amongst them seem to be some eternally angry people.
