3:51pm: Come on guys, the movie isn't even out yet....
Over on the livejournal community Harmony_Podcast miscard posts a fairly non-wanky review of Goblet of Fire. (warning, big movie spoilers, obviously) However, OH NOES! They have not included several scenes that WB released promo pictures of.

( The wank starts in the comments, and while it isn't very big right now I think some of the cries of outrage are wanky enough themselves.  )

Having seen the movie myself, I can attest that most of what is said in the original review is true. Expect more wank once the thing, you know, actually opens for the public, but for now the Harmonies seem to be getting a headstart. Always the overachievers, I suppose.

ETA: The post is, I am told, now friendslocked. *emo tear* Don't y'all just feel horrible about yourselves? Personally, I shall be off sitting in my room with the lights out listening to Death Cab and thinking about what I've done.

InuGrrrl and Lady blade hit the review boards and The Critic makes a final stand; which makes one wonder why he said 'Ta Ta For Now' at the end...

InuGrrl's latest endeavor, The Edge of Seventeen, has drawn some interesting reviews recently.

First, The Critic straightforwardly points out that the fic contains factual errors regarding the Japanese culture.

Naturally, this enrages the masses for reasons yet to be determined. For her part, InuGrrl simply makes a kind author's note in her next chapter proclaiming that she has no interest in facts so no one should bother educating her.

Things quiet down until The Critic makes the scene to defend the critique and snark back at Kagaga no Subaba, and in the process provides some insight into why most fan fiction SUCKS now-a-days.

I have a feeling this might get entertaining, people. We've stumbled upon a Sueric in the making!!

To promote inter-ship unity, some Harry/Draco and Draco/Hermione shippers decide to merge and post together in unity for one thread, sweet ain't it?

However, most if not all of the offensiveness on that thread is coming from GnH, specifically GnH oldbies who are behaving exclusively, stuck-up, and childishly. For the first... what was it, 6 and a half pages... everything was fine. If someone had a problem with Leather and Handcuffs, they either dealt with it or just didn't post there. But now all these people are appearing out of nowhere, dissing our ship and basically destroying the unity behind it.
