10:58am: Millyfan Wank

Celesma posts a Trigun fic on the Trinut Forums. Lady Shadowcat doesn't like the fic and a guest (sockpuppet of Millyfan?) shows up to bitch at her. Millyfan then shows up, wank ensues.

Lady Shadowcat edits her some of her wanky posts to hide the evidence and an admin edits some of Millyfan's posts to hide the wank there too. Celesma shows up, tells everyone to shut up, and peace reigns.

For awhile, anyway. I'm not sure what this anon is going on about on the third page but it could pick back up soon.

From the E!Online boards yesterday morning, losmaven, a fan of Arrested Development that is bitter about its cancellation, has a THERE-I-SAID-IT moment:

Because I watch Arrested Development, I'm a better person than those who do not. You actually have to be an idiot not to like it. I don't want to hear about different tastes and whatnot. If you don't "get" that show, there something wrong with you. It's true... I may sound like a television elitist and that's fine. Because the fact that I enjoy Arrested Development makes it true.

And when someone suggests he was being facetious, he expounds, apparently with a total lack of irony:

I'm sure there are "smart" people who don't like Arrested Development. But these people are just book smart. I don't care if you come back to me and say you're a brain surgeon or a physisist. That doesn't mean anything to me. For those who do enjoy AD you probably understand the difference between "Smart" and just "Book smart"

When someone calls him on his charming attitude here, he goes on to clarify:

5:48pm: Yu-Gi-Ho!
So, I put the search string "Seto Kaiba murder suicide" into Yahoo because I was looking for a dark fic I'd read a while ago.

What do I get? Yu-Gi-Ho! I thought it was satire at first, especially the 'armor' section. I hoped it was satire, I prayed (insofar as an atheist can pray) that it was satire. Unfortunately, as the responses make clear, the guy was completely serious.

And of course, a variety of satisfied/unsatisfied customers.

The first link is the actual article, the second is the responses to the article. The guy who wrote the article replies to the responses in big blue font.

The responses basically alternate between people that are convinced that Yu-Gi-Oh (especially the TCG) is a tool of evil, and between people I'd like to kick off my side, such as:

Anonymous: You people shouldn't be allowed to breed cause you might create monsters.Your up there on the list with Asoma Ben Laden and Sadamn Hussien. No!! Your worse. Sadamn and Asoma had resons for doing what they were doing but you people don't."

Remember, he's in favor of Yu-Gi-Oh and thinks people speaking against it are as bad as 'Sadamn' (no puns please) and Asoma. Mhm, Naruto. Oh wait, wrong fandom.

( Other highlights: ) Remember kiddies, KnK is an occult website, there are at least twelve reasons not to see the HP movies (and no, none of them have to do with the actual movie's quality), and Yugi prays to Yami, who as his dark side is obviously the devil (oh noes!).
