8:56am: HP Fandom: All Your Socks Is Belong to Us
The Harry/Ginny, Harry/Luna, and Harry/Hermione shippers have been having an interesting time lately. You see, there was this troll named obhwfiscanon who went about trolling other shippers' LJs with H/G sentiments. Her H/G seemed rather pasted on and very few people actually believed she was sincere, though a few of her targets were upset at being harassed. ETA: I've deleted the examples of her trolling because the target turns out to be under 18.At last, s/he confessed to being a troll. And guess what her plan was? To get on Fandom Wank as an example of an insane H/G shipper! She'd been trying for two months or so and couldn't get anyone to take her seriously enough.

At this point, harryandmione63 who DID get on Fandom Wank twice for being a crazy Harmonian - though a lot of wankas called troll, congratulations to you guys - decided to reveal herself as a troll too! ETA. Her real LJ is retort and she explains her motivations here.

But was it out of remorse/boredom that obhwfiscanon surrendered, or was it because obhwfisnotcanon was on her trail?

11:35am: The Daily Show - still Serious Business
Pointless fangirly post made in thedailyshow. Splurtage ensues.

It's a compact puddle of wank staples, from grammar bitching to oh so witty ad hominem and d33p discussion on whether the post was an intro post or just comparable to one. Now if there were only more mean girls from high school and Hitler-loving queers...

As a bonus funny: "I wonder if the Daily Show will cover it tonight." Hey, they did MySpace after all!

9:12pm: How DARE you write pairings that I dislike?!?
Over at fanficrants, rigelianmirror politely asks the Fruits Basket fandom to stop writing Kyou/Tohru, because Hanajima said not to. Or something along those lines. People point out that Kyou/Tohru is actually canon, to which rigelianmirror replies:

Ehh. I still say that from a realistic point-of-view, that kind of pairing never works. I just don't get the mass appeal of assholish characters. o.o;


Other highlights include:

I don't like anime fans of Fruits Basket because the anime sucks.

Also? I'm amazed. A lot of the comments here are, in their most basic form, "READ MANGA, STUPID! KYOU/TOHRU IS CANON! NEENER NEENER NEEEENER! YOU SUCK! HAW!" ... Do you think I care? I still think Kyo is an asshole, plain and simple. o.o;
