There is a newly made community on eljay called hellsing_humor. Despite the name, only certain kinds of humor are allowed. As it says in the user info:

In a prior post, several members have an issue with several of the rules since it's a humor com. So owl_in_shower decided to make a post in a challenge to these rules. A post that got him banned from said community. The mod's response can be found here.

10:44am: Seig Pony!
It's two wanks at the MLP Comm My Bitchy Pony, of which I am a founding memeber. The first wank I caused, so it's here in I wank. The second, though, is totally not mine.

That's not the wank. The wank is her icon, that of a pony with its hoop raised saying "Pony Nazi." People call her out. Others back her up.

10:45am: Small "Lost"-related wank
Over on the Naveen Andrews boards at IMDB, forza_azori is very angry that an Indian is playing a Iraqi. Naturally, people are angered by his anger, and aquamarinebeach in particular wants forza_azori to "go watch your own Al Jazeera versions of "Lost"".

Things go downhill from there, and I find myself wondering why we can't all just ogle the pretty, pretty men without worrying about the actors' race; all I really want is some decent Sawyer/Sayid... *Sings "We Are the World"*

Aquamarinebeach replies: He is English but even then he manages to play an Arab convincingly - to his credit he got a golden globe and an emmy nomination for this role - so just give him a break. If they chose him over the arabs that auditioned - may be it's just that arabs have no talent - that's all. If it's not about race, you muslims are always fighting about religion - so if you are not happy watching him - just go watch your own Al Jazeera versions of "Lost". Aren't movies like Lost against your religion by the way - so just keep away - it's bad influence for you buddy!

Aquamarinebeach makes crass generalities: Coz it's true - only muslims have a problem with non-muslims playing muslim characters! If not so how come the title of your discussion is "why the hell is an indian playing an iraqi" - may be you should have auditioned for the role - I doubt that you would have acted better than him though - next thing you will probably ask is why did they make the caricatures in Denmark, right?

And so on and such forth! Later, the discussion turns on poor Hugh Grant (and Britain's continuing exportation of Hugh Grant Doofishness (TM)), who never did anything to anyone but is apparently guilty of something by association of being British.

12:13pm: Self-righteous juvenile philosophy flame wars? Yep, it's the Star Wars Fandom
Mouse on wank_report came bearing Star Wars wank. Three months worth of fanboy moral superiority complexes fighting it out. I'm no expert on Star Wars novels myself, having only read a few of the first ones, but I can give a brief guide to understanding this wank. The novels discussed here are set long after the Original Trilogy. Han and Leia's (living) adult children are named Jaina and Jacen Solo. Jacen Solo has a daughter named Allana with a woman named Tenel Ka. And Luke's married to fellow Jedi Mara Jade and they've got a kid named Ben Skywalker.

Lately, Jacen Solo has been engaging in all sorts of questionable behaviour. So back in late December a poster by the name of YodaKenobi starts a thread titled : Proof that Luke is being manipulated by a Dark Lord named Jacen Solo (DN3 Swarm War spoilers!!!).

There are thirteen pages here and two separate outbreaks of wankery, the most spectacular ongoing.

8:08pm: Every Fandom has a Wank.
Well, I don't think the Grey's Anatomy Fandom has been wanked yet, but after what happened last week it was bound to get really really wanky. Basically we have the dubious "heroine", Meredith sleeping with the designated(but IMO too good looking to really be the..)"dork", George after he told her he loved her. Fans of the main couple Meredith and Derek((annoyingling termed Mer/Der.) were in a state of rage. We'll forget that Derek is too balless to leave his cheating wife for "Mer". Anyways the wank of the (Grey's Anatomy)Century was bound to errupt.

I don't know what is wankier, the writers feeling the need to explain themselves or the over the top responses. You'd think the characters got together to murder Derek(Patrick Dempsey).

I'm sure there has to be people here that would find this of some interest. Maybe even add some other Grey's wank? Because even though I like the show, the "Mer/Der"(seriously they call them that) fans are just wanktastic IMO.
