5:08am: Loligate 2006 (Gothic Lolita is a fandom, right?)
Over on egl, chibiechibbiusa/mabet was a well-known, active lolita in the community. I say was, because on the 15th, she filed credit card chargebacks against 16 LJ and Ebay sellers through PayPal after leaving positive feedback and confirming she received their items.

Here's her side of the story, as understood by pantheria:

What has actually happened in the Chargeback Case is mabet/chibiechibbiusa/Hilleliza or someone has filled a Chargeback through her Credit Card provider who then basically reversed all transactions on that card between a certain time period for fraudulent used of said Credit Card, PayPal had nothing to do with the Chargeback itself, this was automatically reversed without their concent or ours (Those Affected) via the actual Credit Card Company!

But combined with her post about spending $8,000 on clothes in January alone, going to therapy for her obsession with brand name clothing, and being an unemployed college student, this could be her realizing she's in deep shit financially and trying to scam sellers out of their items and money to save her own ass. She's posted about not paying her rent on time and being threatened with arrest if she continues. And, in a locked post on egl, she comments that Celga (a service that bids on Yahoo!Japan auctions for foreigners) stopped accepting her orders because they were worried about her finances.

So, her explanation of events has been taken with a large grain of salt by those involved with all of this. Plus, she wasn't entirely well liked in the community to begin with.

aguitarist is very angry. People are writing fanfiction for kids shows. Gasp!

People who write fanfiction about little kids\' (like, REALLY little kids shows, like Sesame Street or Lazytown or all that other crap on Disney) shows are idiots.
