3:44am: Girl-Wonder.org gets trolled. Well, that didn't take long.

Girl-Wonder.org is a site that was recently started to discuss females in mainstream comics. One of the features of the site is a column entitled Girls Read Comics (And They're Pissed).

Aaaand, we get wank in the comments right away. I'd summarize the best of the worst for your easy wank-reading pleasure, but luckily for me, dafnap already did it here.


Meanwhile, one of the commenters goes back to his LJ to brag, and is followed there by some of the people he pissed off.

1:20pm: FFR mini-wank.
Pretty small.

dinogrrl posts a rant in fanficrants about how she wishes there were more genfic and how it's possible for people of any gender combination to be friends without a sexual component.

There is much "WORD!" to be had, until a_white_rain decides to disagree, and other people decide to disagree with her. Surprisingly civil for fanficrants, but still full of bite-sized crunchy goodness.

Also, although I don't know that I'd call it wanky, I can't help being amused by multiple people referring to dinogrrl as a "he" even though she's got "grrl" right in her username.

3:18pm: A spoiler (of course, it was also announced in the newspaper, which makes me wonder where it stands spoilerwise but ANYWAY) about future events in Spidey's little world is announced.


Second comment in, the bitching starts.

So the question is, is it wanky and stupid to suddenly change a giant feature of one of your characters that's one of your biggest draws or just a good business tactic? How will MJ feel? Where the hell is baby May? Why the fuck did they kill off all my favourites?

Oh, and there's comic nerds talking at eachother in over four hundred comments. Not really with, mostly at.

4:51pm: Colorbar wank
Over at wolfcolourmoon, a personal graphics LJ, yurloveiscancer starts in at the very first comment with 'OMG, ur COPYING ME!!!!11' Other members of the comm understandably snark, and the whole thing is just so brilliantly stupid to watch. yurloveiscancer apparently also wavers back and forth between knowing how to reply directly to a comment, and um, not being able to.

Threats, bad grammar, and sarcasm abound.
