1:21am: So in the new season of Pokémon that just started in Japan, there's a new gal named Hikari. And it seems that Hikari has a first--a female rival!

So of course, this attracts the yuri fans. CyberCubed posts a poll asking if Hikari should be Pokémon's first official lesbian.

Several people leap in reminding us that this is a kids show (these people have apparently never seen CCS, Sailor Moon, or other shows in that vein).

Others call pervert. I must have missed the memo saying that wanting a character to be gay makes you a pervert.

Others mock 4Kids (despite them being one of the more gay-friendly dubbing studios).


And Jesse GS the II, who you may remember from this wank, totally loses the thread with posts like

It's a kids' show. Even in Japan, they don't address homosexuality in kids' shows. And the Harley argument doesn't really hold up - they never outright said he was gay, they just had him act flamboyantly and let the fans decide for themselves. And then there's the fact that this show doesn't even bother with romantic endeavors for the main characters in the first place...

People, get ahold of yourselves. You're drooling over an animated 10-year-old, and now you want her to be a lesbian. There's so much wrong with this, it's just mind-boggling.

They won't put lesbians, gays, bisexualists to the anime because the show is for 8 years old kids! It is not cartoon for people who are older and mature. Its an anime for kids who still don't know what "gay" "lesbian" words really mean. Hikari as a lesbian would be nice but I'm sure, it won't happen. People! Be realists! Don't lie to yourself. Hikari and the second red-haired girl are rivals, but they aren't lesbians. If you really need some homosexual couples, go and watch anime for adults and don't be annoying.

1:36pm: The House/Asperger's Wank, Part II: Electric Boogaloo
Thought we'd seen the end of it? Well, house_md may have been late in the game, but after the episode in question was rerun on USA last night, someone had to jump in. I had trouble figuring out if azurepetals is a troll. Although the journal is empty and the info and friends list sparse, the journal creation date is a few months ago. Old sock, maybe?

Anyway, the amusement really comes in when the troll OP and someone else trying to argue with her have the following exchange:

speedlight: house doesn't have aspergers.
azurepetals: Yes he does.
speedlight: he does not you stupid furry, house told wilson to tell cuddy that he did so that she'd give him his goddamn carpet back.

JESUS.

That is not my interpretation of what transpired, folks. That was exactly what was said.

A tiny interlude about arguements vs. exchanges pops up. No wank there, though. But down a bit further, favyan tries to bring the sense by citing canon. The OP accuses him of being too narrow minded, then proceeds to stick s/h/it's fingers in s/h/it's ears and use this as s/h/it's catch phrase whenever someone doesn't agree with s/h/it. Also, speedlight comes back, and azurepetals accuses them of wanting s/h/it. OKAY!

simmysim tries one more time to bring the sense to the post, but by then the troll has dropped all pretense of not being a troll, and simmysim responds in terms that s/h/it can understand.

We also have random YouTube videos to illustrate a point, and no House wank is complete without the Capslockers and their NSFW MSPaint graphics.

In the end, a somewhat logical discussion manages to ensue, and with a final declaration of troll, everyone packs it in and calls it a night. Short but sweet. It was almost too small to post here, but once I noticed that it managed to hit on most everything a House-wank has, I decided it deserved to be shared.
