Jacob at Television without Pity recapped the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica. The short spoiler-free version from the front page:

Battlestar Galactica - You got your martial hypocrisy in my peanut butter! It's an ethical freakout dance party as one side dabbles in sexy torture and the other starts on biological warfare and reciprocal genocide. Nobody looks good, this week, but everybody at least looks beautiful.

Rap541 was apparently immensely disturbed that Jacob was sympathizing with the Cylons. So she wrote a rant about Native Americans and White Men.

"See, you need to look at this from a different persepctive. Indians, American Indians, only became these gentle, spiritual sorts *after* they became a pathetic broken remnant. It was a rare voice in the wilderness indeed that in 1843 was decrying the genocide of the Native Americans. Hell, back then, I think the redskins were viewed as savage half men, half beast. An enemy. An enemy to be destroyed. It was only after the natives were broken - and broken so hard that they will not recover that all of a sudden we started having a conscience about it. We could afford to."

But probably guessing that comparing Native Americans to Cylons might offend somebody, she goes on to say that the Cylons are exactly like white people, and the humans are Native Americans, cue my favourite bit:

"The humans are the Native Americans - the pathetic broken remnant, and the Cylons are the white man. The few humans who escaped in ships? The sad Sioux and Apache sorts that were slowly picked off by the white man, with of course, the white man's slightly superior weapons.

Do you think that Crazy Horse, and Geronimo, et al, would have hesitated for a second to send some "special blankets loaded with Indian goodness and germs" home with Kit Carson if they had the opportunity? Think about it. Maybe over your turkey next week."

11:41pm: OhMyGod, blacklist!
Bad RPers Suck just surpassed itself. Normally bringing the wank via players complaining about their games, this time the wank centers around an absolutely brilliant post made by a player who was asked to leave a game. Still within standard BRPS material, so far, but where everything gets wanky is where she pastes a chat log to the comm wherein she threatened 'to raise a stink' if banned, and at the end of her BRPS post, attempts to blacklist the game in question by saying everyone should stay the hell away from it.

The initial two comments seem to just back up her right to wank vent, but everything after that is focused on her bad behavior, not the mods, since most members of BRPS are Not Amused at being used as a threat.

An ex-mod weighs in with a quick two sentences but in general, the consensus is against the OP, who thinks that everyone is so MEAN for not paying attention to her personal problems.

Edit: beanarie suggests that janieg remove the last paragraph which is the one that begged everyone to stay away from the game in question, and thereby managed to irk most of BRPS. The paragraph is now missing, so any screencaps of it would be appreciated!

trickster_lord sums up exactly why the post and ensuing comments suck so much, but b_for_bastard's comment fights crime, and thus wins.

Edit III: And comments have been disabled, leading to the aforementioned beanarie to make a post of her own about idiots that come to BRPS and expect that posting there means they're automatically in the right. shadow_otm thinks that people should sometimes disable comments but seems to be in the minority.
