11:17pm: Grudgewanksplosion at BRPS
Tired of being outdone by fanficrants, bad_rpers_suck brings a whole new level of wank to the yard.

It starts when tiakall posts the following clip from an as-yet-unidentified RPer's personal journal:

"One of the most annoying things about being a female online roleplayer is when your estrogen levels start rising, your single or active characters start nagging you to let them get laid."

The initial responses are what would you would normally anticipate: laughter, sarcasm, scorn, even a bit of devil's advocacy...

Until the mod and the admin from the quoted player's current RP show up.

Hey! Don't you have anything better to do then trolling other people's journals?

water_rose and kenderbard are here to rip a few people brand spanking new assholes, particularly tiakall. In the responses it is revealed that tiakall has been in a prior RP with the person she quoted in the original post and had, evidently, less than great experiences with her.

Hmm...is that grudgewank I smell?

Still, water_rose and kenderbard prove to be plenty wanky in their own right in their unabashed, balls-out defense of their precious player. A few gems:

memento_lucifera: I think you fail to realize that, while your darling player may have said it, it also applies to many other people who have said the same thing and MEANT it in the context that it was posted under.

Quit making this a personal attack on you and your friends.

water_rose: When it's taken directly from my players journal, it IS an attack on her. If it's a general complaint, it can be ranted about in a generalised post without hunting through someone else's LJ for a quote that makes them look bad.

And I'm perfectly entitled to defend my player if I wish to.

kenderbard: Indeed - it is an attack on her, saying that she is a player who can't distinguish the line between IC and OOC. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Now people are laughing at her, when it isn't deserved. She is my friend, my player, and I hold the right to defend my players from malicious snarks.

nymosy: So does she "belong" to you or to water_rose? I'm hella confused now.

water_rose: Both of us. I'm the board mod, Kender's the admin. We're staff of the same game.

nymosy: Oh, so that would be why she's following you around the threads like a drooling puppy.

And that's just one part of one thread. It's just gotten started, and this promises to be a lot of fun to watch.
