Why?

Well, the OP doesn't go into details but we get told in a comment that it's because Claire from Heroes entered Milliways while only in a towel.

Cue metaphor trying not to cry, daniidebrabant internet lawyering about child porn and minors, oh_envy jumping in to point out Heroes has graphic gore, and becky_h saying there's no actual kid being hurt so everyone stop overreacting. Because otherwise, dieinahole's dangerous Nuke Sequence's being tripped would have killed us all.

birdseyeview wants to know why nobody thinks of the bisexuals people that weren't offended.

And then finally, sockarooni pops up to make an 'ad homimem attack' that informs people the player in question is a skeeze and talks about his sexual fantasies in a teen-friendly enviroment. Which sheds a whole new light on everything so far to the point that becky_h backs down.

Oh, and just noticed the OP's location is listed as "The Valley of dispair with my anti-wank (hopefully) rifle". Uh-huh.

Edit: Comments from darksunlight aka Mitch make it seem like he's the person the OP is complaining about and according to piobaireachd, they'd practically started a poll on how long it would be before something like that happened, though 'they' is unspecified and it seems to be a complaint about a general trend rather than whoever plays Claire and explains that comment here in a comment to this post. And hey, look, spelling lessons!

And we have a reaction post in the journal of Claire's player informing us we're all crazy because it's only fiction, while sepiamagpie informs us in comments to this post that Mitch smells -- or probably not, but he's definitely part of the skeevy squad.

And two other people get a friend here on JF to toss in their two cents about Mitch's skeeviness. And muffinbutt, weighs in on the game rules concerning how the towel-scene would have happened, speaking from the point of authority as 'a current Bar Mod, Co-Barman, and former game mod'.

Edit III: It's the wank that keeps on giving and got duked out in comments over here! The comment in which piobaireachd pointed out the IC reactions is jumped upon by a self-proclaimed Towel'd Mun and they have a little chat about disliking players versus characters and the difference between drama whoring that creates more work for mods and a good, sarcastic reaction.

American Girl dolls. Sounds completely harmless right? Yeah, well, they are a small yet drama-filled fandom indeed!

Apparently, AG Fans, a message board for the fandom, is full of mods that discriminate and need to be in control no matter what. These mods added a new rule recently.

Religious discussions and/or photos will be allowed, but limited to religious holidays and/or celebrations that have been presented on the AG website, in AG publications, and/or in AG products, as they are now or previously have been portrayed by AG.

Ahh, here comes the mad people~ A mod over at ag_over_18 on LiveJournal, I hear, was warned on AGFans for posting a series called "Otters teaches Paganism" that was nice and informative. They're widely considered on AGPlaythings to be some of the best albums done, but it's just not appropriate according to the mods at AGFans. Not only that, but the AGFans mods are banning people for being a part of the LiveJournal community. Obviously, the can't stand not having control over everything and everyone everywhere. The mod at ag_over_18 is not happy about this.

It's not just her that's bothered by this...

I think it's important to include that someone from that board *must* have joined the LJ com to get a lot of the info, and that users *and* IP's are banned [from AGFan].
And, maybe that one ag18 thinks they might have too widely banned IPs to include the AG headquartters, but we haven't confirmed that yet. Still funny though.

boy_ish offers to send a can, but asks about compensation for shipping to Norway. dagdrommer says of course she'll pay for shipping and things look dandy.

A little later, kennedy_unknown, who is already sending a CD to dagdrommer, offers to send a Coke can along with it. dagdrommer informs boy_ish of this and that's where things get weird:

Also, I've NEVER flamed anybody, and nor have I claimed "constructive criticism" (though "the mods" sure as hell have when attacking others--you have to be "prepared" for it and "able to deal with it" in that community!).

And, duh, how in the god damn *world* could it not bother me?? Could I not continue bringing up how SERIOUSLY wronged I was?? I know you don't get that--because you refuse, and will forever refuse to believe you've done anything wrong. Blame only goes on one side, and it's all about blame with you guys.
