Mock. Mockmockmock. Mockity-mock-mock

History

31st May 2007

5:50pm: Well, yesterday, fandom pulled together and cat macroed like fiends at LJ/6A.

Today, though, it's back to business.

Two different wanks going full force at FFRs.

First is this lovely gem, in retaliation of the suspensions of journals. splinner thought it would be good to post a lovely little poem.

One of these is not like the other-Now with messed up edit )

There is, of course, calls of Godwin's Law, some very angry reactions on the whole pedophile/Jew connection, and people going "Well, the point went over your head" in retaliation. Then came the glory that is mods tags:

aww yeah baby more incest plz, great strikethrough 2007, i don't think that means what you think, missed intended target liekwhoa, someone's asking for trouble, this can't end well, whoops godwin's

And this one has made stupid_free, and they have it with comments from our OP. Brilliance at work here, people.

*gives [info]faultypremise a cookie for the pain*

That's still going strong, I do believe. Next up came sagum2, who comes talking about how she tired of those icky slash writers ruining her stories by putting slash into them.

Thoughts on yaoi, anyone? )

She say's het would bother her, but it wouldn't ruin the story.

Then she says slash bothers her just as much as rape or incest does.

This, as you can guess, goes over well. A few people comments on the lack of good trolling anymore, and others mockmockmock. Popcorn is passed around, people are having a fun time talking.

A few people agree, but more with the whole ill-planned romance angle, not the slash part.

Mod tags: blood in the water, do not feed the troll, ick ick ick!, missed intended target liekwhoa, slash rants, this can't end well, wank fodder ahoy

And we have a cut and run, with deletion of journal and her comments. At least the post is still there.

Poor mods are having to be active today, it seems.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the Pötterdämmerung is sending wanks ahead of it, paving the way for its coming. And then it will descend upon a fandom ripe with paranoia and ready to go up at the smallest spark.
