1:23pm: On page 1066 of the bighuge RPG.net image thread, a comic page is posted that mocks what is, in the words of Ciaphas Cane, "a really shitty webcomic".

Through the magic of interwebs, the author Bobby Crosby shows up and takes offense.

He and Bobby go back and forth for three or so pages attempting to disprove each others' points until the wank merits its own thread. Bobby continues to be amazing.

Then Bobby got banned for a month and the thread degenerates into random banter.

phaballa compares the guys from bandom bands (My Chemical Romance, etc.) playing gay onstage to performers wearing blackface.

If, for example, these boys went on stage and played at being black--imagine the outrage then. To me, it's the same thing. It's like performing in black face.

...I think they're basically ignorant little boys who get off on being tabboo on stage, where they can say it's just a performance, and then talk about how much they love their girlfriends off stage.

And I know somewhere in there, someone compared all of this to Rwandan genocide. (Is that like a newer version of Godwin's?)

11:56pm: DramaDramaDuck: Looks Like They Forgot the Third Part
Every once in a while, I go looking for a good multifandom rp on lj. Most often, I give up due to all the drek, but sometimes something amusing is in the offing.

For those of you unfamiliar with it, dramadramaduck is a multifandom crack rp. Most of the people there are sane and rational most of the time, and while there's ocassionally drama of the real sort, usually a good time is had by all. In the past few months, however, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse. Drama has occurred. Grudges have formed. Lines have been drawn.
