My first wank. I'm so happy!

Semiteeny posts in i_theft that _whatever stole her icon. _whatever responds snarkily!

Both say that they have the .psd file for the icon they seem to share, and semiteeny posts hers.

_whatever posts that she doesn't have time for petty drama, but then proceeds to make two more posts, plus a third that she deleted, about the matter, which was her "I have the proof" post. Which, she also posted over at deardiary_icons in a post right here.

"Hmm. Those screencaps look awfully identical." People say.

"Oh," _whatever says, "I emailed that to her." According to this comment.

Whoo, more icon wank than one can shake a stick at!

Can I provide the stick? *wields 2x4*

And... is there some kind of law that can be written up against saying this?

	Who. the. fuck. cares? They're not your pictures. You didn't take the screencaps. It's an icon. It's not the highest art form ever. This is why I emphasize that NO ONE EVER CREDIT ME EVER FOR ICONS. To be as far from this as possible. (Reply to this)

I love how these arguments always progress exactly the same way, going from ardent defense of one's right to have the image to "so I stole it - who gives a shit?"

1) WHAT? I didn't steal it, it was mine first
2) So that means that you stole MY icon. You bitch!
3) Of COURSE I have proof. And I'm going to post it, too.
4) OK, so I don't really NEED to post it to proove my point. That you posted immediate proof that you made it proves NOTHING.
5) That your username is directly on the icon proves NOTHING.
6) Aw, who cares about this shit anyway? It's still mine though.
7) Man, you people who care if people steal your icons are lame. Grow up.
8) And I'm keeping the stolen icon, too!

	The fact that there's a community just for bitching about icon theft makes me giggle. I mean, get over yourself. If someone snags one of my icons, it's nice to be credited (I'm rather proud of my animated Dynasty Warriors icons, for example), but it's not like the world will fucking stop spinning if they don't.
