Because I just read all teh wank from the last few days, and I just started the patch. Now I really need a cigarette. Why couldn't they have wanked two weeks agi, when I was still killing myself slowly? Why?

... if the quibbler is perhaps a biased media. I mean, they were all over GT, but aren't messing with the Veelas. And judging from what I know of who runs the Quibbler, I can't help thinking that they are ... GAH- too involved. Back out Back out Back OOUT

Forgive me if this was already said, but perhaps the Quibbler won't go into the Aja/everyone wank because it's *only* personal, instead of being a personal problem that shuts down a site with personal reponses laying blame. If VeelaInc shut down, or if Ivy herself gave an opinion on the website issue it might have been covered. The website/archive was just a catalyst for a bunch of other problems that are more personal than fandom. Or, at least as far as I can tell.

There is no such place. The Disney fandoms are where people get *really* vicious, the anime fans are all crazy, and the HP fandom and Domlijah seem to be at a par with one another.

Fables has a very small and nice fandom. Then again, it's pretty unknown in the main stream.

Also, if you avoid the ff.net fangirls you can meet some pretty cool people through Naruto and One Piece

However, what about The O.C.? I think they might have got away with that one. Anyone know of O.C. wank? Haven't visited F_W for a while so I could have missed it. (and O.C. hasn't airedin Australia yet, so I'm not really up with what's what in the fandom.

Also, have seen Sherlock Holmes wank. Last year, at a 'classic literature slash' site that sadly doesn't exist anymore (*pout*) there was a whole lot of wank about a fic this girl wrote, claiming it to be original, when a lot of the narrative came from 'Hounds of Baskerville'. She took lines straight from the book and said she had written them. When called on it, she emailed people 'drafts' as proof she had written these things. She then threatened to sue 'the fuck out of' anyone who said she didn't own the work. Then she left in a huff, taking her crap fic with her. It dragged on for a couple of weeks. *pets wank* Ah, good times. It has possibly been reported here before, but I can't remember that far back, and I'm not trolling the archives looking for it, so... *shrug*
