Wow, 2 in a row. Anyway...

You're all hypocrites for asking people to credit you for your icons, cause YOU don't ask the creators of the anime/manga for credit to MAKE icons!

Someone rants about people using her icons without giving her credit, and ignoring people's requests NOT to take icons without their permission. Fairly reasonable rant. People discuss it.

Then, "erikwilson" barges in and says it's "childish" to ask for credit on something YOU worked hard on, followev by "BTW, your icon sucks." He then posts (SEVERAL TIMES), "You're a hypocrite cause you didn't ask the official manga artist for credit to use the picture".

Not surprisingly, the members get really pissed. But he continues to be a pain in the ass.

Notice how he didn't reply to my second comment? Too bad he didn't shut up completely.

You know, it's one thing to get upset over someone using an icon that you put little to no effort into (or it's questionable if your really did create the icon, as I've seen in previous wanks).

It's something else entirely to get upset when you really do put time and effort into something and someone steals it without so much as a 'boo' to you about it. I don't blame these people at all for wanting some form of credit for what they've done. And honestly, is it too much to ask that people abide by their wishes? What's wrong with saying 'Hey, thanks for the icon!' at the very least?

Tar and feather the loon, he needs it.

	I have this urge to point out the phenomenon of doujinshi circles and the incredibly active fanbase in Japan... that does, quite happily, stuff that would be considered really stomping on copyright here. Yay for Japanese studios realizing that fan-made buzz = GOOD thing. wanks :D (Reply to this)

I dunno, people need to get over themselves, I mean, really. Who has the *time* to go and follow up on every single person who ever took any of their icons? (Well, okay, but still...) If all you're looking for in life is credit, then what the hell is the point? Expecially when, in the long run, the icon you made will be deleted and forgotten and replaced with another, made my another praise mongering jerk.
