DL Anon Wank!
I can't believe no one reported this yet. Major wank on [info]dl_anon:

It all starts with an unfortunately phrased comment that mentioned serial killers and homosexuals in some sort of bad analogy.

And with the help of an anonymous troll, and various other bored posters, the wank grew. Includes deleted comments, hissy fits about being picked on and leaving the group because we're such meanies...

And best of all, anonymous troll wins a prize for some weird contest thingy!

The best but was when singbluesilver launched into that "it was tough for me growing up, we had to fight to survive, and I fought, man. Every time I reloaded that thread, it made even less sense than before! Now, that was an achievement to be proud of.

Believe me it was my pleasure.

Seems I've inspired change as cesare is now talking about starting a banning policy against excessively violent posters. I'm all a-flutter.

By the by, X_W is a loose spin-off of F_W started by yours truly and a few remote others. I've been reading here for ages and thought I'd pay homage. Most contestants enter political debates, but there are some who venture into the outliers of fandoms such as LOTR. The Harry Potter wank has been going on for 3 days so I think I'm going to lose, but there's still a chance.

As long as sing is still hot under the collar and the DLA thread is still growing, I may take top spot after all. It's for points and basically means nothing, but it's too fun not to play.

Regardless, I enjoyed the ride.

I spent the better part of an hour reading that wank. My brain hurts. I read it all and I'm still not sure what the hell half of that was about. Perhaps it's better that way. I was, however, amused by the comment by whats'erface about growing up on the docks. If I'd been drinking a liquid, my LCD would've had a nice sticky bath. I need to go find some Advil now. >
