	Well, isn't that just astonishing hypocrisy? From what I've seen in my years of lurkerdom, she's one of the biggest wankers in HP fandom. I still can't believe she ordered someone else not to post a story with a similar pairing to her own because it might steal her thunder. Hmm. Looking at her whole post, I don't think it was quite that wanky. I mean, it was a meme. A meme which calls for you to list a whole bunch of things, not just what you find annoying. It's not like she just decided to post a list of things that annoyed her, just out of the blue.

I dunno. I might not have perspective. I'm thinking that if it was some other mainstay of F_W that posted something like that, I'd be laughing my ass off. But it's Cassie, and I'm just thinking, "Oh. Well, you're just giving her more reasons to angst about the hardship of BNFishness, and how petty teh wankers can be."

On a related note, I followed the link to the beginning of the shipping debate, and I didn't see her being steadfastly H/H. On the first page at least. Didn't she argue that Hermione liked both of them, in her way?

Day 1: Broke another mirror. Sad to say, v. ugly. However, have lots of squeeing fans, so feel better.

Day 3: Decided to find another pop culture trend so I can plagarize from them in DV. V. proud of self.

Day 7: Adoring fangirl drew me more Harry/Draco smut art. V. hot, but still wish I had talent.

Day 10: Have decided to start reading the actual HP text instead of just trying to find subtext.

Day 12: Had to act all intellectual against someone flaming in my LJ. So tedious. Might think that since this happens so often I might be wrong, but nah, it couldn't be. Could it?

Day 15: Got mentioned in another newspaper today. V. proud of self. Actually, first time I have had anything to do with any newspaper article in months.

Day 20: Finished reading the actual text in the HP series. OMG. Draco is so not hot or cool in the series. JKR obviously doesn't know the character. My Draco.

Bit out of topic - have you noticed that in the Veela Inc fanfiction glossary the only persons mentioned are CC and JKR?

I had no idea of all the CassieClaire nonsense until a month or so ago - now I read her stuff with a healthy dose of skepticism. I was a fan. But now...

Still boggling over the fact that I discussed this with another fan (the person who'd hooked me on DV in the first place), and he responded with the same rabid 'Must Protect Cassie's Good Name!' and 'It's not *really* plagiarism!' that people mention here.

And to think, he's a librarian - AUGH! But no. No beaded ponies.

I was a slight Cassie Claire fangirl for a little while after discovering the Very Secret Diaries, (which became so popular in my beloved LoTR fandom that it got linked to on TORn and made the term "pervy hobbit fanciers" the new catch phrase that EVERYONE used) but soon discovered the sheer VOLUME of wank that this girl not only produces, but also incites on an almost daily basis for HP.
