On a recent thread about an article on the hobbits in Premiere Magazine at dl_anon, a poster appears with an "Elijah is straight!" icon (which she later changes to this icon. Thanks to kyuuketsukirui for clearing that up! ^_^).

Several people express their discomfort with anyone claiming to know Lij's sexual orientation without a doubt.

The poster with the icon in question offers quotes proving her case. She is mocked.

So she decides to go and create her own community: Hobbit Respect: The Hobbit Boy's Protection League, where people can feel free to talk about Elijah being 'hirt', and enjoy "snark-free, flame-free discussion of Hobbit Fandom."

But it's no fun without the snark!
