I dunno if it really seemed uberwanky to me, so much as just a leeeeetle over the top. (Just a leeeeetle bit. *G*) I mean, it's not like she came into a big Fandom_Wank dinner and found us all eating raw meat with our bare hands, grunting incoherently around mouthfuls of bloody sinew and muscle. But me, I heart the over-the-topness, so I was compelled to iconify it.
