More Gaia Offload..
They're at it again. This time, smurfette insists that smoking is bad for avatars and since there are kids who are under smoking age, the cigs and pipes need to be removed from Gaia lest they increase the smoking problem in reality. Everyone protests, mods tell her no. Thread just goes on and on. Happy fun times for all.

In MY days, when *I* was a teen, we didn't need any stinkin' websites to encourage us to smoke. Stress, celebrities, friends' over-18 siblings who'd run to the store and buy for us, or the local art freak with his wonderful fake ID's...THAT was all we needed.

THESE days...Pah!

Reminds me of some comic book letter page wank when it was found that Wolverine was made to stop smoking by the editors because it set a bad example.

One, Wolverine regularly disembowels bad guys.

Two, Wolverine can survive getting run through with swords. He has a healing factor. Cigars are nothing to him
