Child haters love Disney
Hey there. I’m another long time lurker coming out of the closet with a brutal dose of hot and steaming LiveJournal wank. Today’s display of idiocy is brought to you by the debate community, which is basically wank waiting to happen. I don’t know if this comm has been reported here before, but it looks remotely entertaining.



First we have Zippo138, in all his wisdom, strongly imply that people who don’t like children are just a step away from child molesters and need a “good old round of prison sex to straighten them out.” He also points out that these “childfree” types mostly seem to be into Disney and video games and then proceeds to babble Freudian psychology (very badly, might I add) to back up his utter nonsense. Two days later, there are over 400 replies to this.

I don’t even know where to start with this. Zippo informs us early on that the childfree community is what prompted his display of ignorance. To quote him, “I personally don't know anyone that outright hates kids so this place (LiveJournal) is all I have to go off of.” It’s kinda funny when someone calls him on it later on.

Yeah, LiveJournal is a great sampling of the general population there, buddy.

A number of childfree members chime in to disagree. It starts out fairly civilized, but just disintegrates when people start to lose patience with Zippo. Fortunately for our amusement, they just keep arguing with him and the occasional twat that jumps in to argue on his side. Allow me to point out some wanktacular threads of note.

Here Zippo insists that Freudian psychology is still respected and widely used. I got dizzy from watching them run around and chasing their own tails.

And here is a lovely spat over the pinnacles of human achievement and the occasional grammar correction.

I smell stupid.

Even after this the man still doesn’t understand what everyone’s been trying to tell him. I’m truly amazed here.

If you’re bored enough, the entire spat really is an entertaining read. I love it when people make themselves look stupid and fail to realize it.
