Evidently she doesn't understand that any sort of speculation involving her, Aja, a boyfriend, a Golden Retriever, etc. was probably tongue-in-cheek, and people really don't give a shit about her private life.

I say "probably" because I don't recall said speculation. Of course, I lost interest in that wank when people tried to actually start fighting the battle within it, instead of just pointing and mocking. It just wasn't teh_funny anymore.

But anyway, can we declare some sort of thingy where we don't post about Cassandra Claire? 'Cause, frankly, her LJ isn't anything out of the ordinary, and that last post about her here wasn't even about real wank (she was trying to defuse the potential wank in fact.) Unless she does something that is completely out of line or makes you go WTF or whatever, there's no there there. It's not wanky to have an LJ that's only really entertaining to your friends. That's what LJ is for.

Hmmm. Good point, although I must beg to differ a little bit.

I've never really minded the CC mentions. I mean, it's not like we do it on a regular basis, ya know? *shrugs* I mean, this is only the second mention in like, 2 months. And considering the number of wanks that get posted throughout the day on a near-daily basis, I'd say CC is one of the smaller things that f_w focuses on.

Now if we had a specific f_w custom that had "Daily CassieWank Updates" or something like that, *that* would be wanky. *nodnod*

Since I couldn't give a toss what anyone thinks about Fandom_Wank, I don't have much to say on this one.

I personally find it amusing, and frankly? It keeps fandom in perspective, reminds me of how utterly ridiculous people can be, and are, often letting it consume their lives over something so insignificant like a crappy television show. That alone deserves a piss-taking.
