Ah, the ff.n bible section. Haven't been there in a while, but when I used to go there to get Harry Potter fics I would always browse the new stories, click on the ones with high reviews and have a wankgasm.

Reality, is Other, is foreign, is unpredictable. Though we *can* know truths, we cannot know which of our beliefs is truly true, because after all we are human and therefore fallible - and therefore our belief systems are also fallible.

This is blowing my mind. Thank god the truths that I know to be true are truly true, else the truth in them wouldn't be true!

No wonder I flunked out of Philosophy 101 at Boondocksville Community College - this chick must've had a high C, at least.

Seriously! It's like it was written in Teflon-- my eyes kept sliding off it.

I forced myself to read it, but I still can't make much sense of it. Her parable of Smarmy and Hater was deeply thought and moving, however. It's nice to know you can freely mix Bible canon with that of motherfucking Dune. GRAR
