I think I may have strained something.

Story summaries, from Fiction Alley.

Including such gems as:

"Sir Elton John and Draco Malfoy combine to create the ultimate window to Draco's soul."

"Told out of chronological order to keep it intresting."

"Two duelists meet in the dead of night. On the battleground, they stand, awaiting the dance fever to overtake them."

"Using the song "Hero", by Enrique Iglesias as its insparation, and the heart of Peter Pettigrew for its desperation, Hero is a fic to move you to tears and make you want to appreciate the finer things in life."

And, IMO, the winner - "If you never had a friend in your entire life and the only one you can ever remember having was a girl who stole your heart away, one you had known just for a few hours, one you fell in love with from the moment you saw her, and then when you grew older she never remembered you, how would you feel?"

"Sir Elton John and Draco Malfoy combine to create the ultimate window to Draco's soul."

Not only is this my favorite of the bunch, I think it may be my favorite sentence of all time.*

Awww but ya got to admit it is pretty inspirational. Might take me a month to get rid of the image of Sir Elton rattling out Candle In The Wind, while Draco wearing a slinky red frock sprawls on the top of his piano singing along in a twisted take on Michelle Pfeiffer a'la the Fabulous Baker Boys...

On second thoughts, will take me longer than a month and some highly intensive psychotherapy to lose that little sucker. *shudders*

Wow, those story summaries are worse than my fictional ones. Who knew? Maybe my summaries do have some merit. I CHALLENGE you to write them!

Hm, yes. Perhaps they're dyslexic bondage enthusiasts...

If you like the breath knocked out of your lungs, and salt water stains to veil your eyes, and the swollen heart of an addict prisoner to love throbbing in your chest, then please, proceed.

Well, gee. Who doesn't like that with their fic? If only I could have the swollen heart of an addict prisoner to love throbbing in my chest with EVERY story, I'd be a happy gal.

And see, I've been drinking pure sea water to get that same feeling, when all along I just had to read bad HP fic.

A decade ago, Draco fled his home, and gland, and met Morigyn.

And suddenly I'm picturing Malfoy fleeing for his life from a 50-foot pituitary. Or maybe he's reenacting the Attack of the Giant Tits scene from Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex. (Is he the Woody Allen or the Janet Margolin?)
