There's a new "inner circle" journal on LJ called The Foundation of HP Slash. It purports to be a way of helping everyone "discern the difference between BNFs and the little people. This will allow any random person or fandom newbie to check who he/she should follow, and who writes the best fiction. The lurker will then have a guide by simply checking out this journal's friends list."

This is bound to explode into wank any minute now. They're already lining up to say "But wait! I'm *not* a BNF!" And it should be very interesting to watch people recommending their favorite BNFs for inclusion. But my favorite part of it is the userinfo page, which makes it sound like the "BNFs" the journal follows are somehow part of it.
