HP BNF Deathmatch itself has been remarkably low on wank. The real wank is found in the periphery. An argument breaks out when Anon suggests that Meghanjinx fill the spot of a BNF who requested she be removed from the game. This quickly devolves into a cat fight that eventually includes icon wank and several heated discussions about the etiquette of bitchery.

"She's a girl who, every other week, slices into herself because of someone saying something bad about her in the fandom. She has been wanked several times, has TWO VSDs to her name, more than Cassie Clair, and is popular with the seventh to eighth graders."

"And she steals icons from others as well. Her layout on her LJ is an exact replica of Bellatricks' old one. I was on her friendslist before.

And so on.

Oh well. As an artist, I'm going to say Meghanjinx sucks by default for creepy and mediocre Photoshop skillz, and pretend it never happened.

Victoria Bitter is on the level of those nutjobs that ran Gryffindork Tower and made Ms. Scribe lose her job.

Told her boss that she wrote "pornographic stories about characters in childrens' books" and the resulting controversy at work led her to resign when she'd have really preferred not to have to.

I don't have the link to all the Gryffindor Tower wanks, but it's been chronicled all over FW and in other people's LJ's.

She's also a barbieslasher. It doesn't matter if a pairing makes any sense, if you have one pretty doll and another pretty doll, it's always prettier to put them on top of each other, right? I was in a wank with her on illfaith.

There's a time and a place for oooh, pretty! pairings. As long as you admit that that's what you're doing and/or try to come up with a reasonable rationale in the story, I don't have any problems with it. Especially with porn. But there needs to be good detailed, juicy, canon-based stuff out there as well. Otherwise I get bored. And terrible things happen when I get bored. For one thing, I get really whiny.

Well, you know, I could be bitter and annoyed because she's always complaining that the pairings we like are gross and disgusting because there are people in them who aren't, um...conventionally beautiful. You can imagine how the Moody and Snape fangirls took this, can't you?

God help me, I'd read Moody sexfic, weird and silly as it would be if he were written at all close to canon. I'd certainly read Moody/Tonks sexfic, which I'm sure there's plenty of, if I had but the courage to look for it and not be completely scarred by all the utter craptastic ones I'd no doubt find. n.n;;

On LJ, Biichan, AnathdeMalfoy, and I write Moodyslash, and Aldalindil writes Moody het. (I write Snape het but I cannot wrap my mind around a guy who looks and acts like a habitue of the Eagle here in SF, only weirder and with even more scars, being straight. Also, Moody het writers tend to make him embarrassed about his er, missing parts. I personally am not sure he doesn't think he's new and improved, like a wizarding version of Steve Austin.)

I cannot vouch for its canonicity as while I tend to respect the facts of canon, I do not share JKR's opinions about the ethos of the world she created. (i.e. I need more reason to believe someone as manipulative and secretive and prone to make weird decisions like leaving a kid with the Dursleys is "good" than "because I said so".)

I'd check out the LJ comms one_eyed_man and afterlightning (fanfic based on lightningwar, in which Moody is one of the 5 main characters that the game revolves around).
