Not exactly a wank...
But this IS the same poster from this wank.

Surprisingly, the thread DIDN'T explode in wank right away. Maybe the members knew about the wank from hated_character and didn't want to start another. Or maybe they knew what to expect of the poster and didn't see any reason to argue with her.

Still, it screams WANK to me...just the tone of the ranting. Am I wacko for wondering if at some point wank WILL explode when someone sees it and feels the need to respond?

Well naturally anyone who DARES to speak against the Grand, Holy Love of Seishirou and Subaru must be a complete idiot, after all Seishirou is such a nice man who not evil, manipulative, or self-centered in the least.

It'd be nice to know which version of X this person reads. It's not the one I've been reading that's for sure.

Seishirou is such a nice man who not evil, manipulative, or self-centered in the least.

I don't think there's an S/S fan alive who doesn't aknowledge that Seishirou's a big wonkin' asshole.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of S/K fans who DON'T aknowledge Subaru's very, very canon feelings for him.

Haven't you noticed that about seven out of ten posts to the group, especially the ones by members that haven't posted before, have a "Sorry if this isn't appropriate" disclaimer? If no one posted that was a bit unsure, the group would be dead pretty quick.

In the good old days this would have definitely caused much shrieking and hair-tearing - but I think most of the fans with hair-trigger responses moved on after, you know, CLAMP stopped updating X. To Prince of Tennis, I believe, so I'm expecting an explosion any day now...

Or maybe the vast majority of X fans agree with me and realize that I was simply stating fact when it comes to the series? That would be your reason why it didn't explode into wank as well- I'll drop you a link to the numerous posts of praise I received for that little essay from fans if you'd like ;). I thought the original post was a tad more on the wank side than mine... but I showed up earlier on your precious hated_character, didn't I?

Snk. Besides, Shoiryu asked me to do it ;).

But, I've finally been truly fandom_wanked. Much love for the F_W people- still one of the most entertaining sites around ;). I still think the DoS stuff was better, but that's dragging up really ancient history now, isn't it?

Heh, I didn't mean any offense. ^^; Even if you were being a bit wanky, it's no big deal.

I guess it was just the "Wow, that's crap" line you had in reply to the original poster.

And to be honest, the whole argument of "canon vs fanon, what's blatantly there vs what's there but open to interpretation" bugs the hell out of me no matter who's in it. ^^;
