First thing he should realize is that anime is a format. What he's talking about is taste, and his obviously drift towards the stereotype if he can complain about it all being the same, it's probably because he only exposes himself to that and sees it as the same. But the same vitriol for everything else (Stupid girls, ruining my fun by being not guys! And those villains angsting, why do they always angst? Why can't they be happy and destroy the world?) it's like a ranting hattrick.
