This wank really bites...
My first wank, and I must say it's wankeriffic.

I've been a member of The Louislist for almost four years now, and Silverhawk, our list owner, has always kept the list as wank-free as possible.

ATTENTION: All members.

I'm unsubscribing from this list. My position as a moderator lasted
for a very short time and for good reason. Below the following are
emails of correspondence between Silver and LegendaireLestat, emails
between Silver and me, and an IM between Silver and April. This
harrassment and ill will toward LegendaireLestat has been going on
for quite some time and it is now that it is coming to a stop.


This Whit person goes on to say she was just defending the honor of one of her friends and Silverhawk has been harassing them and has kicked them all out of the group and that everyone in the group, especially Silverhawk, is sadistic and paranoid.

Then, she posts all the messages that have been exchanged on the subject. Hey L!

I have no idea what is going on. But I have no time to sit and have
to
answer to Serenity and Whit every time I want to reply to your
posts. I know
you're a great person and I've liked reading your posts. But the
constant
second guessing on my part from those two, especially Serenity has
been too
much of a hassel for me. I do not think I should have to sit here
and
explain and re-explain my posts even when I said I thought your
parody was
funny. She even second guessed me on that.

This sort of hassel and harrassment from your friends whenever I
reply to
you is too much stress for me. I am asking you to unsub of your own
accord
or I will remove you myself. I will not ban you. Just unsub you. I
do not
want to sit here anymore and listen to your friends harrass me
afterwards
whenever I post something in reply to you. I can't even thank you
for the
playbill post because I'm afraid Serenity will get back at me and
second
guess me again.

I hope you understand but your friends have made it unbearabley
stressful
for me. It is not your fault. Your friends adore you but they have
created
too much stress for me over you. And it's the only thing I can think
of is
for you to leave.

Legendaire's reply: Look, I did not send anyone after you. Franky, I
don't know what this is all about. I'm being banned for something my
friends did without consulting me? So much for fairness, eh?

Legendaire's reply: I am not your enemy. I did nothing to you. I
stay because I enjoy discussing the characters of the novels, not to
antagonize you. If I unsubscribed do you honestly think they'd calm
down? No, they'd raise Hell. And there are others there who speak to
me in private who would be a little upset at my leaving. I did not
cause a thing. I'll tell them to stop fighting my battles for me,
which aren't battles at all, but I won't leave where others have
asked me to stay. I have nothing against you, I never did.

Whenever I'd question it's out of curiosity or to get to know or
understand your way of thinking, not condescension, I stopped asking
you questions because you did not like it. But I only ask them of
people who hold my interest. You never seemed to really understand
that I like you.


Silverhawk continues for quite some time, trying to reason with them. It's rather long and the whole message (members only, but you can of course join temporarily if you want to read it) can he found here.

I must say... I've been on this list 4 years now and this is the first such
incident that I recall and from reading the posts...

Silver, you were courteous and your decisions were understandable. Whit and L
were clearly jumping to conclusions and misunderstanding what you said. Anyone
could see that.

Whit, if you'd just said "Silverhawk's been harassing us" without transcripting
those messages you might have gotten a few people wondering. As it is anyone who
can read can see that you've been severely overdramatic, and those messages just
dug your hole deeper.

I certainly hope this won't disturb the unity of the group or cause a
degeneration into the drama and wank of other fangroups.

I'm unsubscribing as well. And so is April. We both believe that
what LegendaireLestat said was not enough to get her kicked from the
group. It's not right to be so immoral and unfogiving over such a
little thing. Legendaire was just speaking her mind, which is
something both April and I love about her, and for that she is
crucified. We stand by whatever she would say because we all know
that she is a good person. But if you can't look past posts that
were proving her point, not being defensive and snotty, then you just
arnt very good people.
I hope you all have a happy life and are sucsessful in whatever and
all that stuff.

I agree with what ~*Ariel*~ said.
I’ve been here for so long I forgotten what not being here is like. I cant
say I’m saddened by the loss, I’d be a hypocrite if I said I was. But This
group has seen it’s cat fights when it came to difference of opinions, it’s
seen it’s quite times and it’s noisy…
But I’ve never seen it starting to slide into the pit of “click”dom before
that other groups suffer from…

Also never before have I seen anyone turn on Silver, I didn’t think it
possible…
