Alas, my poor DBZ! Why must they hate you so? Sure it should have ended long before Buu, but that doesn't mean it had no redeeming qualities. It ran for ten years and for a while was one of the most popular anime on the planet *_*.

Not that I'm one of those people that think it's the greatest thing ever. I just don't think it's the worst.

Oh, and I adore your Legato icon. *droooool*

I feel the same.

I agree that the series probably should've ended long before it did, [poor Toriyama, I think he originally wanted to end the series after Freeza but the fans wanted more] but it still had it's moments. No series is perfect.

I think we need to start a collection to buy these folks some ladders which they can use to Get Over It.

Sure it is! Otherwise how would you bash an entire [group of people/genre of music/fandom/medium/region/country/race/gender/species] and make yourself look all edgy and daring and Better Than You?

I love how people agree "Yeah, anime is all crap! Except I like [title title title.]" Uh... what?

And the false dichotomy between Western animation and anime rears its ugly head once again. Pssh. People, you know, you CAN like both. They aren't going to take away your nerd license.

	The only thing that pisses me off more than Western Animation vs. Anime is Western Comics vs. Manga. Admittance: The American comics industry is sort-of sucking lately. But we've got some GREAT Western Comics. And...yeah. (Cards on the table: I write Kinkos-published comics, and want to write comics for something-of-a-living when I get older.) I know. It still pisses me off that if I'm reading American comics, I'm somehow more stupid than if I'm reading one of my manga. And the fact that I can't find anyone that knows about Alan Moore or Neil Gaiman that didn't learn from my circulating my comic books. >_<;;;; Plenty of people know who Rumiko Takahashi or Akira Toriyama are, though. I need to get out of this goddamn little hick town.
