Yeah, when I had a website, I used a Lynx Enhanced icon because hey, when I used my UNIX shell account at school, I used Lynx as my browser, and didn't get why other folks are all snooty about it.

Then again, I only learned HTML so I can get my writing up.

	Mmmmmmmmmmm, Mozilla Firebird. My only gripe (unless I'm doing something wrong) is that it doesn't do Flash . . . in which case, no big deal, I just go and fire up regular ol' Mozilla. pets them both (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Quicktime I have a problem with too. And I think that Flash may work fine, and it may be Shockwave that doesn't wanna work. Hm. I'll have to look into it further. At any rate, tabbed browsing is the shit, and I'm glad both Mozilla and Mozilla Firebird feature it. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Fucking word. I hate hate HATE people who disable right-click, because I like to open things in separate browser windows so I don't have to keep going back when I'm done. Not to mention a) anyone who wants to steal your images can just print-screen anyway and get them, so you're really only preventing theft by stupid people, and b) view-source was the only way I ever learned HTML, so anyone who's all "OMG I'm not gonna share my images/coding/etc.!!!" ('cause HTML codes are so, like, patented!) is just a fucker.

That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

My big nit is people who use the _blank tag to open a new window. Tabbed browsing broke me of any desire for that. This is especially annoying when I'm using my dad's superslow computer, as it taxes the resources to the point I could scream. He uses IE, so there are new windows with their own pop-ups, which brings things to a grinding halt but quick. Plus, if I want a new window or tab, I know how to right-click already. Grr.

Oops, and I'm out of paper towels. Sorry!

Or hit 'save as', save the whole webpage, and get all the images in a neat little folder complete with original resolution and filenames. Not that I would do such a terrible thing myself, of course. I just have this friend, and sometimes she takes over my right hand so that she can get the actual-size 300dpi versions of Britney magazine covers from dumbshits who think that IE actually wants to help them.

But yeah, I hear you on the new window thing. I live my life by right-click.
