	Um, so the guy thought that by D/Hr the original poster meant Harry/Draco? Okay, understandable mistake, HP pairing abbreviations are whacked. Except, the OP was talking about an icon. With a picture of Hermione and Draco in it. That's just sad. (Reply to this)

	Check out copperbadge on LJ for HP porn. He's excellent. There's also a straight guy slasher in Naruto, but his stuff is only worth reading in the "awww, look at the ickle slasher!" sense. He's too young to be writing it, in other words. (Reply to this)(Parent)

We can argue endlessly about what racism entails, the fairness of affirmative action and why black people can call each other the "n" word constantly but get very angry when the same term is used by a white person. Once you get started talking about it, the complications and side-issues just start flying.

We can argue endlessly about religious prejudice -- whether the West is unfairly prejudiced against Muslims, and vice-versa. We can argue about the US support of Israel, and the scrutiny of Arab-Americans at airports. Too complicated!

But when you talk about gay rights it's all very easy. You don't have to worry about a person's stand on gay marriage, insurance benefits for gay partners, or whether they think the bible condemns homosexuality. You don't have to worry about whether they love and support members of their own family who may be gay. Pft! All that stuff is irrelevant!

If you like slash and images/descriptions of the hot buttsex, then you support teh Gay and you're practically a gay rights activist. If you don't like slash, then you're an icky homophobe and should go die. Viola! Simplicity at its best.
